Great option for affordable oil transfer
This oil drum pump is exactly what I needed to get the oil out of my drums on a budget. It’s super simple to assemble and straightforward right out of the box.After installing the pump I was getting a small amount of leakage from the tip but I just took the included hose and pointed it upright so it would settle in the hose when not in use. Also, the pump is made of aluminum so you need to be VERY CAUTIOUS when threading it into the drum. All drums are made of steel which is a much harder metal and you can easily strip out the color which would not be good. I did notice that the drums threading was “fine” and the collar threads are “fine” but it still took awhile to get the collar threaded in all the way.After a quick functionality test, I was ready to pump oil. With a few spins of the handle I had 1 gallon of oil in my container in about 30 seconds and since the system is self priming it was easy to pump the oil into my oil can.The CARLKEMIAN 55 Gallon Drum Pump is a solid choice for your shop if you need an oil pump that has good functionality and fits onto any 55g oil drums I have at my shop and it’s a great price point.

Good pump for the money
Needed to transfer some clean engine oil from tank to barrel. This pump worked great for the job.

unable to get it to pump water for an hour, got a drill hooked to handle pumped about a pint of water, put in trash pile junk save your money

Does not fit my 15 gallon drum it doesn't screw into the hole

I have never owned a hand pump like this before. So being my first one and my first attempt at this, I feel like it worked really well. The pump itself is well-made. It has some heft to it and is feels like good quality.I would highly recommend this for a home, garage, or business use.

Everything as described so far
This comes in a smaller container than I expected. The pipe lengths are just screwed together to make it the big unit you expect. Overall quality looks to be good. I got this to help me transfer trasnmission fluid/oil and I like how the pump works by rotating the handle. This to me seems easier than the more common pump up and down type. Time will tell how well it holds up, but so far the quality seems great.
