great product but easily damaged when Amazon ships it in a thin plastic bag and throws it up and then down on concrete upon delivery...

Perfect to connect the gas line to water heater, dryer, or furnace
I smelled a little gas when using the dryer. The gas company came out that same day and confirmed a small leak in the valve. He said to have a pro come out to replace it. I called a plumber and wanted to be ready with the hardware. It took me a while to figure out the sizes - 1/2" is the standard by us for the gas line coming in to the house, and this valve is for natural gas. Just be sure you get the right size of flexible hose to go to the dryer.

Very high quality brass gas valve
Very high quality brass gas valve. Lever is easy to operate and the flare fitting sealed with a flex hose on the first attempt. I checked for gas leaks with a detector and there none. Both ends sealed easily with yellow teflon tape. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
