Since I am away from home on occasion, I wanted it to be convenient for me to use my CPAP. I bought this power supply so I could keep it in the travel bag, I have a spare mask and hose and Medicare replaced my tank so I have two. Is now very easy for me to unplug the CPAP device. Toss it in the other bag and I'm on my way. On occasion, the CPAP does not recognize this as having the appropriate voltage. I'm really not sure what it is but turning it on and off once maybe twice and it works just fine. It has been running off that power supply now for several months without fail. Since most of these power supplies are huge bricks with long wires on either end, it is definitely worthwhile to have two especially if you've hidden the wires for the one on your bedside.

life saver, I went on a road trip took my cpap but left the cord at home. Amazon shipped this to my next stop ( same day delivery), at it work just like the original, awesome service and perfect power supply for my cpap.

We packed my CPAP in a hurry from a hotel overseas & forgot the power cord! Thankfully I had an older Philips CPAP. I bought this as back up, always be ready for the unexpected!

works as it should

This is an inferior product that does not work properly with the Respironics Dreamstation 2 CPAP machine. I noticed after I ordered it that Amazon had an alert that it was a “frequently returned item”. Now I know why.
