To make it short: great quality (full metal, no plastic), works like a charm and inexpensive. I love it so I bought a 2nd one for another tripod!

Got this plate to set it up on a Benro Red Dog because I have Arca Swiss type plates and bases. It is very well made, the bubble levels are useful to confirm that the gimbal is operating well. The size is perfect for the use I give it.

This was easy to install using a not supplied adapter. You have to buy the adapter separately from another company.There is an internal spring that keeps pressure on the finger screw so it doesn't come loose while you are carrying the tripod. There is also a stop to prevent the screw from coming out. I have 2 of these and they have worked fine. I also have a RRS clamp with a lever lock and the lever lock is quicker and does instill more confidence. But so far I have trusted my camera and 600mm lens on this and have not had any problems. If levels are a big thing for you then this is probably not so good as they are small and the bubble itself is only about 2mm around and hard to see even in daylight.

As excited as I was to get a PeakDesign Capture v3 for mounting my DSLR to my backpack straps when hiking/backpacking, I quickly realized that my tripod(s) would not support the inclusion of the PeakDesign plate mounted to the camera body. After some searching, I discovered there Arca-Swiss conversion mounts, and now I can quickly and easily transition from pack to tripod and back again.I can't speak to the durability of this particular product because I've not yet had it for very long.While it's among the less expensive options I've found, it does seem to be well-made, and the numerous positive reviews give me a bit more confidence.I'm glad it included the 1/4" adapter because I need it for my tripods.

Peak design is a great company making awesome stuff. But >$300 for their compatible tripod makes it much more of a pro than enthusiast thing. Wanted a way to use their quickplate “Capture” system with my existing tripod, and peak doesn’t make any adapters for this likely as it would ape sales of their tripod. This plate needs to be double checked for a secure lock-in, but does the job for less than $20, making me a happy camper.I’m sure there are other uses for it, but if you are in my camp - the water is safe to jump in on this solution.

This is a terrific and inexpensive bracket to adapt a tripod head to accept any Swiss ARCA camera plate. I installed this on my Manfrotto 496RC2 ballhead. Please note that, at least for the Manfrotto, you also need to purchase a Desmond Boss Adapter Tripod Head Female Male Clamp Replacement - small plastic piece that allows the Rayfoto QR Adapter to securely attach to the tripod head. This adapter allows me to keep my Peak Design Capture Clip plate installed on my camera at all times.

I purchased this plate to adapt the peak design capture plate to a gorilla pod. Worked great.

I have high hopes for this unit but, they say first that the machine work is very well done . The looks of the product is frankly outstanding. The thumbscrew and clamping mechanism is as smooth as silk. So overall for what it is designed for is probably fine for most cameras or whatever you’re going to attach to it. First thing I did when I received it was to test and see if spirit level bubbles are accurate. They are not, at least for what I was going to use it for. But for use with the camera I’m sure it would be fine, it’s close enough. I give it 3 stars for overall machine work at appearance.

This product is perfect for use on my L bracket, used to hold my autoguider.

This system is by far the best option for anyone using a tripod.
