Yes, it requires cool whip, or similar store brand. It also needs 2 packages of cream cheese. You also have to purchase a graham cracker crust. That's why I requested a refund.

Q: Does this make a standard cake, also does it come with crumbs for crust?

No, this is not like a traditional cheesecake. It is creamy and smooth texture and you will need to purchase the pie crust, cream cheese and whipped topping. Enjoy!!!
