They are what they say they are. Just don't try to use them on parrots.
Bought these to temporarily mark some parrots while we waited on results from DNA testing to come back. The bands went on easily and seemed secure. Of course, parrots are never content with anything seeming secure. In the brooder where we had 6 of them, two of them immediately decided they were the greatest toys ever and immediately started trying to take them off the others. They succeeded in removing one, and we split them up so that we wouldn't have to re-draw blood. This isn't the fault of the bands. They work fine and seem to be decent quality for less inquisitive birds. Just providing this as a cautionary tale for anyone who had similar ideas.

Easy Once Conquered
We were unsure of how to open them enough to get them on our chicks and were afraid of hurting them but once we finally mastered it, it was easy and the chicks may wiggle but it doesnāt hurt them at all. We were just newbies at doing this but itās actually easy.

They work. They stay on good, fit my hens perfectly, but they break easily if not careful.

The numbers and color are great, the fastner goes together relatively easily, so as a product it works. However they seem to come off the chickens so defeated the purpose.

Design works well
Have used this brand before in a smaller size. Bought this size in case any of my chickens start to get ācanklesā & need a larger band. Havenāt used these yet but they are the exact same design as the next size down so I donāt foresee there being issues. Current ones have been on for close to 6 months with zero fading or lost bands. Would recommend -only issue is that I donāt use the red ones due to the fact chickens love to peck at the color red & nobody needs to be arguing over the bracelets on their feet š maybe the manufacturer could substitute the red with another shade of a different color? So consider that if you need a particular number of bands
