Scorpions For Kids - Amazing Animal Books For Young Readers Paperback – September 17, 2015

As an actual scorpion biologist, I'm not sure if I can recommend this book. Primarily, it is rife with errors and misspellings and mistakes. Clearly written by a non-native English speaker with no editing. The content about scorpions is, from a kid's perspective, mostly correct. They do mis-state the danger of the widely available Emperor Scorpion, which really never uses its stinger due to its large pedipalps (they call "dangerous looking claws") and they include a captionless picture of a whip scorpion (which isn't a scorpion). So, the question is whether an error-filled text with (mostly) good images is good to present to a child. I suspect my son (8) and I will read it for the mistakes.

Soft back book that looks and feels like a photo copy version. Disappointed in item and immediately returned.

I was quite baffled when I opened this book and started reading. The book was clearly not read through by anyone before publication. There are grammar and spelling mistakes throughout. Its only redeeming quality was that it was so bad it was funny. However, I will be returning this book as soon as possible.

This book is very low quality. Words are misspelled and sentences are incomplete. I would not recommend getting this book for anyone.

The writing is unfortunately like this all the way through. I bought it for my son for Christmas, but failed to pre-read it before gifting it. Big mistake. Unfortunately that meant I missed the return window and am stuck with it.
