Seems like it will offer good protection for my Boox Tab Ultra C color eInk device, but it has a curious pivot feature. I believe I've figured it out, but seems a little overdone for what it is. They used a few simple squirts of a gel/hot-glue-type material to make the "stops" that are supposed to hold the device at one of three angles, which makes this case appear somewhat cheesy. The pivot on the cover seems to be of suitable quality, but I question why a pivot + this cheesy "hot glue gel" stop is necessary. If you just want a basic case, this unit is fine. But if you desire a smooth or somewhat classy look, this case is probably not for you. It works, does what it says, but shouldn't be this complicated (pivot) yet cheesy (hot-glue-stops) at the same time. Not sure what the vendor was going for.UPDATE: Been using this case for a month. Still not sure the pivot should be a thing. It occasionally feels like it's helpful when writing on small table or my lap, but not a feature I'd ever ask for in a case. I do appreciate thr robustness of the materials and sewing used to stitch it together. As first thought, the "hot gel glue" used to make the "stops" for the angled case are, indeed, cheesy. Probably wouldn't buy it again, but the case is steong, and has protected my device well. Not inclined to return it, but the unusual swivel and the gel stops make me not want to recommend it.
