I'd never heard of Palo Santo, I discovered that it's commonly used with white sage bundles for smudging. Usually the sticks are used. I prefer loose sage, so I decided to try the flakes. Wow! This smells great: To me, it's a bit spicy + woodsy. I often burn it alone, but I do use it in a "house blend" of sage, copal, and "Pontifical" Church incense. Smells great. I use it at least once monthly to clear our home, or when I say prayers during trying times. I recommend it, and I plan to buy it again. My package arrived on time and in good condition. I had no idea that this existed. But I'm glad I found it. I got it well wrapped and fast shipping. It has a woodsy smell like fresh cut lumber but not to much. I cant describe it. I love it. I love it.

I thought it would have a different smell. It smells like burning plastic. Disappointed.

Definitely not flakes. I received a bag of palo Santo "dust". It wouldn't stay out. A waste of money!!

I was disappointed by the small package, even though the amount is clearly stated. What I received was wood shavings, no real chunks. Had I paid half the price it would have been worth it, but you can buy sticks of Palo Santo for much less based on weight.
