Durable and cute
This thing first off is very cute. It folds up and down and is a really cute house type toy for hatchimals if thats what your kid is into.Almost more importantly (if you ask me) is how surprisingly durable it is. I bought it for my 5 year old, but her 1 year old brother plays with it too. Mostly by opening and closing and throwing it (let me tell you the one year old is a throwing champion). >.> it has never had any trouble, or broken in any way.

Cooler than expected!
Wow! This secret scene playset is soooo much cooler than I expected! When you open the little bottom door, the top of the egg spins and opens up, allowing you to open the sides. Also, you can store hatchimals in here. You just have to put them in specific places where they won't be in the way of the playset closing. Some other reviewers said they couldn't store their hatchimals in there. Anyways, great product!

Bought 3 of these for my 3 girls (7, ...
Bought 3 of these for my 3 girls (7, 8 and 10) for Easter. Was going to get different ones, but all 3 were identical. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't what we got. 50 cent containers of Playdoh got more attention than these things from my daughters. Now my 5 yr-old son, he wanted to tear the egg apart to find out how it worked.... so there was that....

Of course the kids love this.
They remind me of furbies and they also freaked me out but I actually don't mind the hatchimals. It is fun to get them to cone out of their shell. I like that you can train them then reset them but the kids just play with them. I would recommend them to others for sure.

Easy to pack
This is the perfect size for travel. I bought it as a surprise for my daughter for our 11 hour flight. She was able to put it on the pull down table and play with it for hours. When we were done we just stuffed the figures back inside and we were good to go.

No batteries required
The media could not be loaded. I like that to pop the top you dont need batteries and just have to pull the merry-go-round out and my girls get a kick out of the secret picture that you see through the flower.

Bought this for a gift request at a local school charity - no idea how the toy works, but was very pleased with the speed it was delivered.

Fun but doesn't hold interest very long
My daughter was excited to received a new Hatchimals playset a few months ago. It comes with one "pre-hatched" hatchimal.. Daughter enjoys opening and closing it. There is a scene to view through a little peephole at the top that was fun to see the first time but doesn't really hold any interest. Seems a little pricey given the original playset had more activities and cost a few dollars more. It was more exciting to explore the first time but doesn't get too much play time.
