Would not work. Box was all taped shut like it was returned previously.

Initial review of this switch is strictly a visual comparison to the failed OEM unit. And it passes the visual comparison, as it looks exactly the same as the original (only newer).Having already changed out this failed OEM switch a few months ago with a different aftermarket one, I currently don't have a need to actually use this yet. This one here is $2.67 less than the previous aftermarket switch - so not a huge difference.I couldn't find any warranty info for this switch, so for that I'm subtracting a star.There are other switches for less money, that don't have any warranty either. The aftermarket switch I've already installed comes with a limited lifetime replacement warranty - and that right there is worth the $3 extra.If my current switch acts up, I'll throw this one in, while the warranty replaces the one acting up. I'll leave this one installed until it acts up, then I'll have the replacment switch to put in. This all depends on how much longer we keep the vehicle as well.For my money, warranties weigh heavily into which auto parts I end up purchasing. To have a decent replacement warranty for 10% higher price is a no brainer!

My ignition was having issues immediately turning on without jiggling the key so I took a shot and ordered this one. Just had it installed and it fixed the issue. It’s a fairly straightforward part, it does was it advertises to do, nothing more, nothing less. Install was easy and was a perfect fit for 2010 Ford Escape.
