Right out of the box, this one feels much sturdier. The wire gauge is noticeably thicker and coated to help prevent rust—definitely a step up in quality.I really appreciate the thoughtful design. It has not just one, but two higher support wires that are perfect for platters, cutting boards, and other larger items. The silverware holder is also well-designed: spacious, with slightly wider slots that accommodate my round-handled utensils easily. There are even two larger slots that fit bigger knives—my butcher knife fits without issue, which is rare!One of my favorite features is the drip pan. It’s designed with a slope that guides water directly over the edge of my sink. Unlike the flat mats that just let water pool underneath, this setup actually works the way it should.I’ve only had it for a week, so I’ll be sure to update this review if I notice any rust or other issues—but so far, I’m really impressed!

This dish rack is exactly what I needed for my small kitchen. It’s sturdy, compact, and holds a surprising amount of dishes without taking up too much counter space. The stainless steel looks sleek and matches well with my appliances. The water drains neatly, and it’s easy to clean. My only wish is that it had a little more room for larger pots, but for plates, cups, and utensils it works perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone short on space.

Does the job. We go through a lot of dishes. Large dishes fit perfectly and it’s easy to clean!

I LOVE this Kitchenaid dish drying rack.Photo 1--This is my reason for the 4 stars--It did not drain the water fast enough for me. If you look at the photo, I remedy it but putting an object under the back end of the drain tray. I just happened to have a plastic Easter egg and used the top half. Perfect height. Water drains immediately. You can use anything, Paper Cup, block of wood to name a couple.Photo 2--Just make sure that the holes in your utensil tray is over the tray so it drains out into the sink and not on your counter.Photo 3--Reviewers said that the dishes do not stand up. Yes, that is true if you don't use the first slot. I have bought several dish racks in my many years, and I don't recall even one would hold a plate straight up if you put it in the middle of the drying rack. You will also notice that I have heavy stoneware dishes and it works for me. I choose to remove the top cover on the utensil tray to hold flatware separately. Also, it holds 10 plates and still about 3" to add something. As for the glass holder. Love that feature but unfortunately, it will not hold 6 of my glasses but still happy with it.This drying rack is very heavy and strong. Please note that I have the compact size only because there are some things I choose not to put in the dishwasher. This is still plenty big.

This stainless steel unit works better and holds much more than any other plastic one we have ever tried. Only thing my wife would like is if it came with just a little color on the sides. Other than that, it's perfect.

A wonderful dish drainer. It's the perfect size to hold all your dishes and it is sturdy enough so it doesn't tip over when you add heavy dishes. I feel the dishes dry more quickly in it too.

Love love love it!!Sits on a slant so the water goes right in the sink. Large enough to hold plenty of dishes. It is worth every penny. Would recommend this dish drainer. Nice size.

So so happy I got this! Good size, much easier to clean, and most importantly, it comes with a drain pan that drains!!! (Because of the design which makes the pan slope down slightly towards the sink.) Also, looks nice (as dish drainers go). And it’s quite sturdy. I got it on an Amazon day sale, so very happy with that too, but it would have been worth the full price.
