Ok so these were really easy to use I will give them that. However, when i got them out one immediately broke. Ok, messaged amazon and they gave me a refund straight away and I'm so glad they did because after a few uses each one broke to the point they were unusable. I would not recommend purchasing these and get the hobbycraft ones instead.Also the scissors are useless and dont cut anything! Whats the point?

Well what can I say, as I eagerly undid my new pompom making kit I took it out of the large white sealed bag, turned it over and bam! There before my eyes inside the stapled shut packet was a large thick dark hair. For a moment I was unsure if I should just put them in the bin or carefully remove the hoops themselves while attempting to leave the very suspicious dark hair inside. After a few attempts I managed it! The hoops are free! Yaaay! I wiped them down with some anti bac- just incase it was a hair from a place even more revolting then what I was envisaging already. I open them up and then as if by magic the first one breaks. I wrapped around one thread of wool. Happy days. Hey ho at least the instructions on the back gave me a good laugh.

The product is flimsy and delicate - it needs to be handled carefully otherwise I suspect it would break easily. The instructions to use it are terrible. The written English of the instructions is not accurate so does not make any sense and the instructions in general, even with pictures are not clear. I went on YouTube and watched a video on the Clover Pop Pom maker to learn how to use this. When you know how to use this, it’s actually very simple. It would be good if the product was more robust. It does make great Pom Poms and the thicker you apply the wool, the thicker the Pom Pom. This product does the job but could be greatly improved, as could the instructions. But does it make a Pom Pom - yes!

It was pot luck which seller I ordered these from. All of the others look exactly the same apart from coming with accessories, and all around the same price. These are made really poorly and one has snapped before use. The scissors will not cut through a pompom so are a pretty pointless extra. The hinged parts are so tight on two of them that they feel like they will break when used. I suspect that if I choose a different seller I will probably get a product of similar quality. There's probably just one factory that makes them all.

This is the worst product I have ever had from Amazon. The instructions were translated from another language and although I can usually sort things out there was a problem. Very disappointing product. Unable to use the scissors as it was impossible to get the plastic safety cover off.

For the money these have been perfect. Great results for crafting projects. If you have never used anything like this before, go on YouTube to watch a tutorial video as the directions are rubbish.

This literally fell apart in my hand mid use - one of the arms snapped right off with very little pressure! I managed to use the other sizes to successfully bang out a bunch of pom poms, but even then bits were popping out and had to be reattached as I worked. I subsequently ordered the Clover pom pom makers which arrived today - those I would recommend as they are sturdy and solid and worth paying the extra for. But these I'm returning.

I feel silly for not having bought this sooner makes making Pom poms so much easier and faster!!! Looks a bit strange at first but once you get the hang of it dead easy!!Great for the price
