Samsung LCD/Plasma TV CAPACITOR Repair Kit, Replacement Parts (1000uF 10V, and 1000uF 25V, and 2200uF 10V and 220uF 25V) WITH Solder wire, wick and DESOLDER PUMP! High Temp Capacitors

I ordered this for my LCD Samsung which would click continuously when turning it on but never go on. Everything arrived as promised. The de-soldering pump is plastic which I knew. I have done a little soldering before but never had to unsolder. I had to replace 4 capacitors. Two came out fine with the pump the others I had to gently twist the capacitor while heating the solder. It worked! TV turns on & off fine know. Saved myself a couple hundred dollars.Hints...I took pictures of the board before I unplugged the connectors so I could be sure I connected them properly when done. Before I ordered I took the TV apart so I could check the capacitors. 4 had the "dome" top. I wrote down the capacitance and voltage. This wasn't easy because of other components in the way. Had to use a flashlight, magnifying glass and my cheater glasses. Make sure the negative terminal goes into the negative hole (shorter terminal is negative and there is stripe on this side). Take a picture of the top of the area so you know where the negative (stripe) is when installing the new caps, I also sketched a diagram with the capacitor number (written on the board), location of the negative (stripe). Before installing come up with a strategy of which to install first as the new caps might be in the way when you do the remaining. Not a big deal but it made it easier. Lots of on-line videos, check these out to you are familiar with how to replace them.

The kit has everything in it to fix my Samsung power supply. Model LN52A650A1F, Model Code LN52A650A1FXZA, manufactured 2008. Found that 2 of the four 1000uf capacitors had blown. The kit had four capacitors so I replaced all four. The kit had a small pcs of solder and solder wick, both important to the work required. From start to stop - about 60 mins, EASY. Thanks Witonics.

Everything needed to repair my tv was in this kit. I could have bought the caps from Radio Shack and the soder, copper tape, but by time I bought all needed to install the caps it would have been over 30.00. This kit cost 10.00 great deal. I gave them a 4 because they sent me the wrong item first, I notified Amazon and the company responded the same day, they sent me a self addressed envoloped to return the mistake along with my purchese. GREAT JOB!!

I had to replace a 2000uf 10v capacitor on an older Samsung LCD TV. Its display flickered like a strobe light. Removing and replacing the bad capacitor was easy. The included solder sucker was super helpful with getting a clean removal of the old solder. I prefer using that over the copper braid. All in all, it’s an easy DIY fix. No need to toss out the TV or pay the TV repair shop.

It was not the correct kit to repair my model. I could only use 2 of the capacitors.Needed kit for Samsung Hp4234x/xaa

Saved over $1000 in TV repairs (or buying a new TV) with this kit! Best value purchase I've made in a year. You have to be comfortable taking apart a large electronic device, though, and you have to use a soldering iron. So this is not for the faint of heart. Must have a moderate amount of "handiness" to repair a TV successfully.

Products was good. I however wish they had included more soldering wire as they only send a very small amount.

Fixed a 40" LCD TV good as new. Yeehaw!!!
