Braun 3 Series 350cc-4 Shaver, Black/Blue

Honestly this is a fantastic shaver. I kept on getting the cheaper ones and they were not good at all. So I decided to make a investment on this one. Shaving has never been easier for me. There are all the different models for each braun shaver series and I looked at a bunch. I was interested in the series 5 but decided I didn't wanna spend that much and I looked at the 350cc and it had very good reviews so I was like let's do it. What I like about it is while you use the razor part it smooths you face/neck at the same time where with the old ones I'd have to use the razor attachment then the smoothing one. Another great feature is the sideburn styler it is great works real well. some people are buying the shaver with out the cleaning doc. I just want them to know it really is worth it because instead of having to get all the way inside your shaver all you do is place you're shaver in the cleaning doc and press a button and it gets clean. I'm very impressed with this shaver and I am a proud Braun shaver user. I posted a pic of me after using it so you can see how clean of a shaving expirence I am having

I had a Braun shaver in the 90's, back when they were still made in Germany - it cost me a hundred bucks, didn't shave as well as this one and didn't come with a cleaning system either. I don't really get the complaints about these being made in China now - so what? The build quality is still excellent and they shave better than ever. Does everyone on Amazon have family in Germany that was put out of work by the move to China?When my previous Braun died, I decided to try a Norelco rotary to see how it compared. I used it for a few years but was never happy with it - I found myself shaving several times a day just to keep my beard manageable, and I never felt like my skin was really smooth shaven. I finally got fed up enough to go back to a Braun foil shaver, and I'm glad I did.Foil shavers don't seem like they should work better than an independently floating three-blade rotary, but they do - at least for me. This shaver gives me a much closer shave without going over and over the same spot or unnaturally stretching my skin. There's no pulling either.I've never had a cleaning system before and I'm sure this is pretty low end as far as these things go, but it's been working great for me so far. My routine is to shave in the morning and again if I feel like it at night (this is just personal habit because I like my face to feel totally smooth all the time, but it's not really necessary), then put the shaver in the cleaner/charger when I go to bed and repeat the next day. Every morning the shaver is clean (I've opened it up to check), fully charged and smells lemon fresh. I'm still on my first cleaning cartridge but new ones don't seem to be unreasonably priced. The manual says they should last a month's worth of daily use and I seem on pace for that.The one caveat is that I've had a few days where the shaver is not fully dry after taking it out of the cleaning stand, even though it's been in there far longer than the 4 hours the manual says is required.Keep in mind this is *not* a wet/dry shaver, so it needs to be fully dry to shave. That's normally a plus for me, though, because wet/dry shavers generally cannot be used corded (they don't know when they're wet or dry, so they just won't allow corded shaving at all), whereas dry-only shavers like this one can. So if you run out of charge, just plug it in and shave. It hasn't happened to me yet but I know from experience that it will, and it's nice to know I don't have to worry about the battery.Just for the record, the battery does seem to last the quoted 45 minutes. For me that's around 2 1/2 shaves, though - not the 7 shaves manufacturers like to claim. I don't know anyone who shaves that fast! Technically you could, but not very well. So realistically for me the battery lasts one day, as all cordless shavers would. But it's peace of mind to be able to plug in and shave if needed - if, for example, I forget to charge one night.At the moment this is by far the best deal for a foil shaver with an included cleaning system - almost all the others are priced over the century mark, and I can't see how they'd do anything much better than this shaver. I'm extremely happy that I bought mine. It's one of those purchases I only regret not making earlier.

My third one of this series. Not because they break, because I wear them out over the years...yes years. I've been using this series for 10+ years. The great thing is the washing fluid is universal and so are the cords. So the old cord can be packed away when I travel and I don't have to unplug the new one off the cleaner and worry about losing it. The only part changes over the years that you actually replace are the foils, but new foils are easy to find for new razors.

Replaced a Braun that was old enough that I could no longer get replacement parts for. (Electric cord). Loved the old one and this seems to be a winner also. Not a lot of extras but it’s a shaver for heavens sake! It shaves and it trims. That’s what you’re looking for isn’t it? I don’t think you’ Regret it if you get one of these Braun’s and you won’t break the bank.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it. Shaves clean, easy to use and the self cleaning features are great. This is his 2nd Braun and I'm sure his next razor will be a Braun also. Love those smooth cheeks!😎

Useless for anyone that can grow an actual beard. If you have a thick beard, this will take forever to shave and won’t get near close enough. You will have a shadow within 3 hours.

I used a three head rotary electric shaver for decades. I tried the Braun 3 Series and was sold. This is my second unit. At first, I thought the expense of the cleaner would not be worth it, but it makes a huge difference in the comfort of your shave and the performance of the shaver. I buy the cleaner in bulk and the end result is that this shaver works very well, day in and day out, and I don't have to brush it or clean it or anything else. Just put it in the charging/cleaning base and let it do its thing. When shaving performance diminishes, I buy new foils at a fraction of the cost of the shaver and it's as good as new.

My grandfather has trouble using his hands due to a recent stroke. He had to switch from a traditional shaved to this electric one. It's great for him! Works great and the buzzing isn't too much for him to handle it in his hands. His grip is not strong so needed something easy to handle. He loves that it cleans itself too!

Excellent - my husband had had the older model before and this is so much better
