The kit worked for my Shimano groupo: however, the kit instructions are cut and paste and confusing. The instructions show 5 different sized blocks for the hydraulic brakes, but the kit only comes with 2, which may not fit your groupo. Absent the other 3 blocks, I had to use other tools not included in this kit to accomplish what the instructions described if would have received the other 3 brake blocks. With some research and experimenting, I was able to complete the bleeding of my brake system using this kit. However the scan website was no help for my groupo. For me, the most useful part of this kit was the hydraulic fluid "bleed bottle". Thus this is an expensive kit for just a "bleed bottle".It seems that this kit tries to be a "Universal Kit" for all systems and falls short. There are many pieces that were of no use for my system. One of the 2 brake blocks that came with the kit did work with some maneuvering on my part and the use of some of my others tools that are not part of this kit.

I'll start with the good part. The syringe is decent quality and the brake bleed bottle is functional.Now the bad: The instructions only show how to hook up Shimano brakes and they include a mix of copy/paste from other vendors' instructions and broken english. How do you turn a screw 20 ml? That's like saying "walk 3 ounces." I bought this for Tektro brakes. There are no instructions on how to hook up the bleed bottle to that. I was able to figure it out and got it working, but expect to do some trial and error. Next problem. The brake cylinder... shims? I'm drawing a blank on what, exactly, they are called. You slide them in place of the wheel and brake pads so those don't have a risk of getting covered in oil during the bleed process, and hold the brake cylinders firm against a hard surface. They don't fit inside the caliper. Too thick. So I ended up using my old pads and wheel to do the bleed. They got covered in oil horribly. I think the squish of the brake pads kept me from getting all the air out too. Next problem. They include a small wrench to loosen/tighten the bleed valve. It's made of tin foil and would rather bend than twist my valve open. I had to use vice grips and channel locks to get my valves open/closed. Doing so chewed up my valve head and was way more difficult than just twisting a wrench but I was able to get my bike ridable again.Now I just need to clean up all the spilled oil everywhere and replace some pads.

Easy to follow instructions and works as expected.Only one drawback... the funnel is not transparent soooooo... when bleeding the brake you have to stop en pop up and look into the funnel to see if you still have any fluid left in the it to ensure one does not draw air into the system. Not the biggest deal, but it does slow down the bleeding process unnecessarily.

Replaced my disk brakes with hydraulic brakes, they worked well. Only one problem, not enough hydraulic fluid. These worked great and filled the brakes yesterday for the second time. No oblivious leaks and I have checked. The system might not have been full. Thanks for this GREAT kit, may use it all some time.

Works very well and you have a lot of options, especially considering the price.Everything sealed excellently on shimano M355 brakes. The package arrived missing a bleed block however there was overlap with a different one that was included so I was able to do a brake service.

I've tried several brands but this one has it all. It's easy to use and does the job well. I used it on my sram rsc brakes and was really easy.I gave it 5 stars because of the multiple options it gives you and how easy it makes the work.

This set makes bleeding brakes a bearable task. Be sure to use the correct bleed block for the caliper you're servicing. Most brake sets do come with this part as well.

Arrived quickly and worked great and has options that will work on just about any application.
