Watercolor Scrubber
The scrubbers are used to remove watercolor paint stain marks that were unintended. I have yet to use them but saw them used on a YouTube demonstration to subtract color and felt they were worth the investment.

Great tool to have on hand!
These little scrubber brushes work. I watched a couple of short youtube videos on how to use them for corrections in watercolor. And well... my watercolor painting skill level is such that you really can't tell mistakes from intended marks, so I didn't use them for a while after I bought them. But today I created something that I liked well enough to want to fix a couple of small runs after a wash layer had dried. And these little brushes did the trick! I just wet the paper a little and then scrubbed lightly and the brush lifted the paint and I was able to cover with another light wash and no sign of the watermarked edge I wanted to "erase." I suspect it works by lifting a tiny bit of the surface of the paper too. I was using 100% cotton paper, so I don't know how this would work on cellulose "practice" paper.

Pratique et peu dispendieux.
Idéal pour toute peinture à base d'eau.Facile de retrouver le blanc initial du papier sans l'endomager. merci

Good for Larger Areas - Work Well
The bristles are super stiff and not for detail work the smallest is the only one I've used so far and it scrubs alright. It's easy to grind away your paper, even if you're using 100 cotton, so don't have a heavy hand. They will not scrub out staining paints, like phthalo blue.

Don’t work well
Like using a toothbrush to lift paint…wouldn’t recommend. Damages paper it’s so hard

Very useful for scrubbing and blending
I use these on Strathmore 300gsm cold press paper and they scrub and blend beautifully as expected. I use Winsor & Newton Cotman and professional watercolours.
