Decent spare Gaming drive for games not requiring M2
The performance SP Silicon Power 4TB SSD 3D NAND A55's delivers makes it equally versatile. Its innovative design combines 3D NAND and an SLC caches for efficient write speeds, allowing for fast boot-up times alongside rapid file transfer capabilities even when the drive is under stress. While the 2.5-inch form factor is widely accepted by the public, in my opinion, ease of use for many systems is also considerate for performance enhancement. Overall, an excellent drive for those looking for decent speeds and dependability.

Great performance and value. I do recommend!
Works perfectly, installed it in a computer I built for my Dad. Very pleased with the performance improvement and it was a great value. I have a 500gb version of this in my Xbox One, for over a year now with no issues.

WOW!! Good product.
The solid state drive works well in my laptop. It's faster than the original mechanical drive. There were no problems formatting it for my laptop either!! Thank you.

Really great value for good quality SSDs.
I've bought quite a few of these to upgrade all my computers. They make my older computers perform amazingly well for such an economical upgrade. I've been using them for a few months now and haven't had a bit of trouble with them.

A great "budget" SSD for a gaming drive* or general use.
Pros:-Cheap for a 4TB SSD-Temps never went above 55C even in torture test (1.8 TB Data transfer with different types of files)-Works well for a Steam Drive (older/less demanding titles) with good load times (more in "Other" section).-Also good for general use except for what I'll be covering in the con section.-Better than having a mechanical hard drive.Cons:-No DRAM so this drive Failed the "large constant speed transfer test". it stayed at top speeds until it hit 1TB out of 1.86TB of constant data transferring. Once it passed the 1TB mark the speeds dropped down to 90MBps Average for the remainder of the test. Once the test was over with, and the SSD was left to rest a bit (a few minutes) I was able to regain it's original speed for short burst (under 1GB file size) downloading 10 Minutes to go and do another 1.1TB transfer round (to make sure it was not a fluke) with it repeating at the same 1TB mark. So without any DRAM it's best for small burst file transfers or installing a game, etc.. So this drive is not good as a Emergency Backup Drive, or if you need to save files that are not larger than 25% of your overall SSD capacity (like 4K video production work). If that is what your looking for in a SSD then get a SSD with DRAM.Other:As for gaming a majority of games will work very well with zero issues though you'll maybe have a 3 to 10 extra seconds of initial load times compared to a NVME SSD, but it'll still beats a 1-3 Minutes initial load time of a 7200RPM mechanical hard drive. There are some new titles (Ratchet & Clank for example) that will need a NVME SSD instead of a SATA3 SSD, but for the rest this SSD can really handle them with no problem, and for someone that may be on a tight budget this SSD is a good deal for someone that needs speed & capacity, but it still needs to be budget friendly.

Works with ps4
Got the job done. Better speeds than hdd, connected with ps4 without hassle. Didn’t notice any noise change. And I have no clue of lifespan because I have only used it for 2 days! I wish they said the media speed in the description tho, having both speeds is crucial.

Works as promised. Very easy to install. Comes with Free Cloning Software
This is big bang for the buck. It works as promised. There were no issues. I had it running in 30 mins. Flawless.Pros:1. Works as promised.2. Comes with free Software called ECHO 3. You can download this software from SP website. The key for this is printed on a sticker on the back of the SSD device. People have used it successfully. I have no idea how it is. I used Macrium Reflect to clone. Just wanted to document here that it comes with a free software for cloning.3. Results are fantastic. I moved from 85/63 to 510/467 MBPS ! Well most most SSDs give that. Just documenting here that it delivered advertised speed. It could give more may be, but I have a small capacity machine.4. Look and feel is solid. It is of no value anyway.5. Price point is excellent. I got 512GB for $57. You would get Samsung 256GB for this price as of Jan/2019.Cons:None so far. Reliability - I have to wait and watch.Other thoughts:1. SSD Management software is available for free download. But my antivirus stopped it saying unsafe. Read on reviews that it contains TROJAN. So I would not recommend it. You can install something free like Crystal Disk Mark but it would not monitor SMART and other things. It is better to be safe than sorry. However I appreciate them offering something for this price range.2. I had tried Samsung Data Migration and Macrium Reflect earlier on a Samsug EVO SSD 256GB. It never worked, I had to return it. This one was very easy, it was a breeze. And costs 1/2 the money you would pay for Samsung brand. I think Samsung is just brand marketing. There is nothing much.3. I need 2TB-4TB SSDs for NAS. I would wait for sometime for prices to fall. I would recommend this product.
