This has the ratchet sound also. It’s not quite. I’ve never heard of a quiet one. Good luck.

Q: what is the bolt pattern and dimensions of the the footprint?

I don’t remember. It fit the holes of my old one.

Q: does no break mean if u let go it spins out? 2 it says 1400 n 1500 why? 3 single speed??? its manual!

Yes, to question 1. Not quite sure of question 2, but they come in several different pound ratings. I don’t remember, what load rating of the one I bought. I think 1500. They are great winches.

Q: Just bought a new one at Bass Pro and the handle is too long, it hits the boat. Anyone had issues with the handle being too long on these?

No issues after installation. I have one with a shorter handle. If interested let me know.
