Great tool, way cheaper than the M18 equivalent. No issues so far

Works but noisy as in internal parts not secured and rattling probably needs be torn down and lubricated

This is a great tool. It's like it's a Makita without the brand on it. Works wonderfully well, however here is what I will say about it.1) The blades in the box are bad. Spend some money and get good blades, it makes all the difference in the world.2) You NEED at least a 4AH battery to get the juice you need for the device to work correctly. The 2 and 3 batteries just don't have quite the power to make it work at 100%. This is not a flaw of the tool, it's just the way it is. Even the Makita branded one will tell you not to use the small batteries for it.Other than that, tool is great, costs less, and lets you use batteries you already have...

better than my corded dremel.

I rarely leave reviews but I felt a responsibility to other folks who are thinking of buying this…don’t! I buy a lot f knockoff tools and typically they do hold up well. This tool worked nice for about a month. Then it slowly started to not oscillate when cutting plywood. Eventually it would only cut very soft items. Unloaded the oscillation works good, any typical load and it just hums. In a side by side performance test against the 12 volt brand name version there’s no comparison. Very disappointed and unfortunately the return window is closed.

This is a great tool. For the DIY person its fantastic. I already had batteries and a charger as this tool ( at least one I bought ) comes with only tool and accessories. FYI This tool uses the same battery as the MILWAUKEE BRAND M18 VOLT RED LITHIUM 2.0 18 VOLT BATTERY that is available for Milwaukee drills impacts and other battery run tools. I already had a Milwaukee drill so I used the battery to power this tool. This is a must have for close cuts under baseboards or tight areas where you cannot get a saw into. Has different cutting accessories for wood and metal that come with tool and you can order other accessories as well if needed. Tool has plenty of power which is adjustable and is well made, I have used it several times a week in my home remodel for over two months and it still like new. Very good!!

Yes it's compatible with the DeWalt battery, but only works with the 5amp and larger batteries. The tool will NOT run with a 4amp battery and works every time with the 6amp battery.

Works fine and comes in handy. I keep it with my Makita tool set.
