You have to READ the instructions
So, initially when I plugged it in and attempted to program a keycard into my card access system, it read the wrong set of numbers on the card. Initially, I thought it was processing the incorrect information. But, if you look at the card that comes with it, at the bottom,m it gives you a software link to download that allows you to change the info that is read from the card itself (i.e. program the card reader).
