Yes it cuts glass bottles & done 4 so far- but poor design means the two halves of the plastic shell fall apart if just slightly overtightened. Very poor design and the blade is held in place by 3 screws, all of which are different suggesting this is not a professional outfit, but a shoddy duplicate of an original design.

Bought this on a bit of an impulse and have to say I was a little bit disappointed, I tried cutting several glasses and I would say on average 9/10 broke due to the strength of the spring that presses the cutting wheel to the glass.

Waste of money. If it had a more ridged body be great. As soon you put the slightest amount of pressure to rotate the body comes apart. Great idea but cheap material..Update on cutter. Supplier sent me a replacement and said it's an improved upgrade. Same results I'm afraid.Body is way to flimsy.Citting head tracks off even under the slightest touch.Wet tile cutter dose the trick.....

Ok I'm one of those people who doesn't bother with instructions so as soon as i got it tried it on a small 330 ml bottle. just tighten it up and turned the bottle once and when i loosened it the bottle fell in 2 where i wanted it to so very happy. Have now read instructions and watched video so looking forward to doing more.

Broke on first use. Not sturdy enough.

Love it!! It's surely got to be the easiest way to cut bottles.
