A few years ago we were looking for a video baby monitor to keep tabs on our first grandchild while she slept at our house. I discovered the original Nooie 360 and quickly realized that it was an amazing value. I’ve had professional experience in video production, computers and security devices. The 360 had many features and performed better than devices costing many times as much.Recently I became aware of a “New and Improved” model and was asked to review it as well.From the posted specifications the changes seem to fall into three main areas.1. The color of the device changed from white to black.2. The camera is improved3. I had read somewhere that this camera supports the 5 ghz WiFi band. This information was in error.The value of these other improvements are explained as follows.1. The black color helps hide the device in a darkened room. Our granddaughter, now age 6, complained about the camera watching her. In my opinion she is far less likely to notice the black camera. The original camera had enabled us to see her escape from her pack n play and find a set of permanent markers and decorate the side of her pack n play. We were able to stop her before she graduated to the walls and remove the markers from her possession.2. The new camera has improved night vision and resolution.These improvements will make a great product even better. Let me quickly mention some of the things that make this camera a great choice. First, it is a very good camera. It does well in low light and does a fair job with audio as well. The camera can be mounted upside down and the image inverted through software for ceiling mounting, a great advantage. The features are great. You also get a choice of local storage and/or cloud storage. Local storage requires a mini SD card which is sold separately. The new model supports up to 128 gb SD cards. I always prefer local storage, but it’s nice to have the option.Weaknesses:Yeah, there are a few. Control and monitoring is limited to smartphones and some tablets. There are apps for both Android and Apple. What’s missing are a Windows and a Mac App. I would love that plus the ability to record on the PC’s media. The ability to use an external microphone would also be great. Where am I headed with all this?I put myself through college by videotaping counseling sessions at a local university. Years later I was videotaping focus groups for an advertising agency. In both instances a camera like this would have freed me from this boring task. Nooie is about 90% there. The camera’s image quality is excellent. The ability to follow movement may be a bit choppy for broadcast, but is more than acceptable for observations. The microphone sound quality is reasonable. All that is needed is the ability to observe and record on a laptop.The range of motion on the tilt function could be a bit better, especially when the camera is mounted on the ceiling.The SD card slot access and location leaves a lot to be desired. I had one SD card miss the mark on the original cameras and fall inside the device. It’s still in there somewhere. It doesn’t seem to be interfering with the operation of the camera.The camera lacks a physical shutter to cover the lense.The software is much improved, but still could be better.In conclusion, the camera is still an outstanding value. The new release is an improvement over the original. This is still a great value and I’ve given Nooie 360 Cameras as gifts and highly recommend them.

Working perfectly for my needs. The night vision works great. Which is imperative for my uses. The install went really quick just plug it in and tap a few buttons and hold your phone up to the camera for photo and you’re up and running. We lost a pet randomly so we decided to get cameras to see what’s going on when we aren’t around

I'm very satisfied with my new camera, I use it at my baby's room, I tested a few other brands but always had problems to reconnect any time the internet service failed in my home, but the nooie camera always goes online automatically when internet goes back without manual intervention which make it very reliable during the nights.

The media could not be loaded.  INDOOR CAMERA 360“The night image quality is one of the features that I like the most about the Nooie 360, as it is VERY CLEAR.”“The installation instructions are clear, it’s easy to install, but I must say that when the internet is slow, it slows down the camera installation process.”Ok… let me tell you my opinion.I wanted to buy this camera to keep an eye on my baby during their sleeping hours; it has almost all the features I was looking for in a camera:1. It has 360-degree movement.2. The night image quality is spectacular.3. It has notifications for motion detection, sound, and crying.4. I can speak to my baby and husband through the camera.5. The sound is good.6. I can take snapshots and record what is happening.7. The camera design is nice and modern.In conclusion, it has many pros, but also some cons:1. If you want the camera to record full-time without being in the app, you need to buy a card or cloud storage from Nooie (I prefer it to cost a bit more but not have to buy cloud storage periodically). This point, for me, is not good, as it is crucial for a security camera to fulfill this function; otherwise, it becomes a decoration.2. Without Wi-Fi, the camera doesn’t work, which is counterproductive because I don’t realize when the signal drops, and it deactivates automatically.3. When I bought the camera on Amazon, the images taken by the brand of this product at first glance are deceptive since nowhere does the camera’s cable appear. I automatically assumed it was wireless based on those images, of course (my mistake was not reading that part of the product description).Still, I decided to keep the camera because the pros outweigh the cons.

I purchased one monitor then purchased a second a few months later for another location. They are both fantastic! Easy to set up and easy to use. Notifications are spot on, we even took it on vacation. After almost a year, the sound stopped working on one montor and they quickly replaced it. Highly recommend!

I bought this camera for my office that I'm currently building and I have another one on the way to put in my baby's room. I had to give up my office room for a smaller one to give the kiddo a room to sleep lol. I have all smart devices in my house from Alexa, smart switches, smart plugs and now I needed a smart baby monitor to make sure my baby is okay when he's sleeping. It's a great, little camera and I recommend it!

Customer service was incredible. They sent me a replacement camera that works great. I use it as a baby monitor, and am impressed with the quality!

The Nooie team did a great job supporting us when our previous camera stopped working. They tried different solutions to solve the problem and when they didnt work they offered us a discount on a new camera. Very friendly and thorough work by their customer service team.

App is great, simple and has enough features to make it useful for our purposes.Camera quality for the 4K is nice, the night vision is very clear and bright as well.Sound lags a bit and also 2way mic is a bit alarm to the baby, but good overall baby monitor

I couldn’t make it work with Alexa

We ordered one for its wifi capabilities and were impressed with its field of view, and how you can move the camera around. We could essentially place it anywhere in the room and still see the baby in his crib (previously had one of the old Angel cameras and it had a VERY limited field of view).The set up was a breeze and the app/inviting my husband to “join” the camera was also pretty easy to set up. Wifi capabilities are great - it does freeze up once in a while to buffer but otherwise is very smooth, in the house and when I’m out of the house.I did get an issue where it would send me notifications about sound/baby crying even though nobody was in our unit… we would also try to listen in and all we would hear is static. The app would also make my volume go ALL the way up if I turned on the volume so if I had Spotify going, it would pause it but when I would back to Spotify it would all of sudden BLAST the volume.I contacted customer service about the static and false alerts and they’re offering to send one straight away. They’re super helpful and fairly quick to respond.Would recommend - will update the review once I get my new one up and running!

The crazy amount of features, amazing picture quality, and for a low price are all just simply amazing. I installed this into my mice cage and it's ability to monitor everything, with motion trackng, day and night, is just amazing.
