This holds the phone firmly in place and does not require any suction whatsoever but grips the surface of the dashboard tightly. A very good product.

I was really struggling to find a phone holder that would fit my car, as I didn't want one that stuck to the glass where they so often drop off. I lacked the right vents for most designs and don't have a flat dashboard either. However this one is IDEAL. It very tightly grips the dash overhang above my speedometer etc so my phone is neatly positioned off to the right of my view when driving. One thing that is missing (hence 4*s) is a release button for the clasp on the phone, so I can remove it one handed and with more ease. The clasp is very strong (which is great) but trying to peel your phone out of it is tricky, even with both hands, and often results in my phone case getting pulled off on one side. I had a clasp release on my old phone holder and do miss it. Otherwise a brilliant phone holder that hasn't budged from its position at all.

Couldn’t get a phone holder that was stable or lasted. This fits well to the dash is easy to get the phone in and out of and holds it really solidly.

Be advised that this has very strong springs, so it won't fall from your dashboard and in my experience using my Samsung phone, it won't drop the phone either. I'm not so sure about if you kept moving it from one vehicle to another how long the plastic of the clip would survive but for a one or two time install it will be fine. There is no vibration on the phone when driving so the screen remains clear for sat nav use and that's on UK roads!!

Not the best of items. I spend half of my time HOLDING IT...Definitely not bump proof. The suction is good but it is not sturdy at all. Won't really recommend it but I'll keep it.Will get some strong Gorilla double size tape...

The suction power is okayfor the sturdiness, it is only good for my Samsung phone. iPhone fall off when attached because it seems heavy for it.The adhesion sticks well. Will recommend for android phones

The phone holder came in two parts that needed to be fitted together; the phone cradle and the spring clip. They do not fit together. The ball joint on the spring clip is too big to fit in the socket on the back of the cradle.Not fit for purpose.

Best setup for filming in the car. Wish it had more grip on the dashboard. It slides off easily. I use a cloth to avoid slippage

Because of the "curl" on the steering wheel side the the dash, most clamp-on phone holders aren't stable. Vent holders - block vents, cup holders are to far away. Put this sucker on the Right hand hold - IT WORKS. run cord over top of steering column (I'm going to hard wire bracket - easy access on right side of wheel). doesn't block vent - easy to see. This info is based on 2023 F150.
