I use these carabiners for holding my keys. I meant to try to use them for running with my dog and attaching her leash to my belt but haven't done that yet. I did not realize that these were screw tightening carabiners until I got them in the mail- just poor reading on my part- I was looking for a smaller version of a rock climbing quick release carabiner. The company reached out to me on routine customer satisfaction check via email. I let them know of my dilemma. I love the quality of the carabiner but not the lack of a quick release. They were very kind and offered me a refund, but I decided to keep the carabiners since they are so well made: strong, light & look good. The company then generously registered me for a 1-year free replacement warranty. So: good company, good carabiner. The carabiner is just not a quick release- just so you know :)

I lost my carabiners for my ENO so I bought these to replace them. They work well and are sturdy. I'm not a climber so no clue about that. It is easy to clip and unclip them. I'd buy them again if I ever lost them. It comes in a nice little box with a bow on it.Pros:-lightweight-sturdy-easy to useCons:-None so far

These carabineers are way lighter than I thought they would be. I've been in a pretty bad hammock accident in my life so I'm scared to death of them. There is no way for me to test that out. However, I did use them to carry a few grocery bags into the house all at the same time so I didn't have to make 2 trips. That worked very well. And really didn't add more weight to the groceries trip.They are great to keep on your keys or backpack. In fact I just switched from carrying a purse to a backpack and I will definitely be putting at least one of them on there. I like the idea if keeping all my hair bands on them too. I am forever losing those things.Overall, they are good. The lock is very easy to use. I'd use them at the beach to keep my keys and other things like my camera with a wrist strap and one of my wallets, also with a wrist strap all together, hidden. Oh, I also used one on my keys to hang them on the seat back of the cart of the grocery store. I've always done that with another clip I had, that way I always knew where they were and didn't have to search all over my backpack to find them. They are handy to have. And they were shipped here really fast.

I like to keep one of these clipped to my bag at all times! Whether it be carrying wet watershoes off the front of my bag, hats, or just securing things into my side pockets they are always useful. I'll use the roller lock when it's on the outside of my bag so no one swipes it off on the subway! They're lighter than I assumed, and the sleek matte black looks really great. Doesn't seem too loose so far, the clip is centered and closes properly every time so far. Great carabiners for my normal everyday lightweight use!

Got these to hang my hammock. I liked the heavy scoring on the rotating lock as it is easier to use with wet or sweaty hands. I appreciate the lock. The spring bar surrounds a swelling or ball on the end of the beaner which is supported when locked rather than a thin pin. Seems to give added strength.My only complaint is that it does not show the tested weight on the Beaner or the packaging. (would prefer it on the Beaner.) But for a hammock, I am not concerned.

Very nicely packaged products, perfect for gift giving. These are well crafted everyday use carabiners. As stated not for climbing purposes. So many uses for around the house. Sons have found uses for attaching things to their pack packs and for hanging necessities off a fishing tackle box. Locking mechanism is easy to lock and unlock. Textured wheel makes it easy to lock and unlock even when wet.

These carabiners were perfect, until only a few months of using them this little metal inside of them to help them snap back in place fell off on one of them. I haven't hanged anything on them besides my keys. So not even a half pound of weight has gone on them. I guess they were good for the price while they lasted. I've lost keys before to this problem with cheap carabiners I got lucky no keys fell out this time I just reached for them and it was broken out of nowhere I didn't smack them into anything

Seem to be good quality but are actually a little smaller than I had anticipated. Guess I should have paid more attention to the posted dimensions so I own that. To give a good reference think of an Altoid's tin. That is exactly what they come packaged in so that is the size. For the size and quality I am not overly impressed and wouldn't brag them up but can't fault them either. Better than a key chain but not something to trust your life to. Good for low hammocks but not for anything you wear a harness for is my opinion.
