It tastes like herbal tea. So if you use only one tea bag plus this with some honey,… it’s perfect! Haven’t had it long enough to feel any different yet😊

The package has a suggested use printed on it, add 1/2 tsp to a cup of green tea. I did exactly that. The guava powder spices the tea up some, making it reminiscent of a Japanese matcha tea. Don't misunderstand, this does not make matcha tea - it reminds me of matcha. It's a nice, pleasant, spicy green tea. The powder doesn't readily dissolve, you'll have to wait a little bit for that to happen. Put your guava powder in the cup, then your tea leaves (or tea bag), add hot water, and wait for it to steep. After a few tastes, I decided to add a touch of honey to my cup of tea.Alternatively, you can just measure a tablespoon or two into a cup of hot water, and allow it to steep.Your guava powder arrives in a clear plastic bag. Cut that open, you find a resealable bag. Cut that open, and you find yet another clear plastic bag. You will want to cut that open, carefully pour the powder back into the resealable bag, at which point it is ready for use.The pricing looks rather high - but you get a full pound of guava leaf powder. It's actuall a pretty good bargain, if you really like this spicy tea. I will make no comment regarding any health claims for guava tea.I like, but I don't know how long it will take me to consume a whole pound of tea. This won't replace my coffee, or even my favorite teas. I will have an ocassional cup, and make it available to guests.

I add it to smoothies.

This can easily be added to anything since you really don't taste much of the powder at all.
