Saved me lots of money
Used to weld radiator on old JD gator. Crack was on the neck and multiple other products had failed. Had the repair done in a couple hours. It’s been about a month now with almost daily use of gator and absolutely no leaks whatsoever. Used a heat gun like instructions says and it was amazing to watch the plastic melt and bond with welding rod. Saved me lots of money on new radiator

Not for a novice?
Bought this to fix my radiator since that's what nylon is suppose to be able to fix right? Well it did not work. I melted the nylon into the radiator mixing the rod with the radiator plastic. However it did not hold. I was able to scrape it off with a utility knife. And that was after reinstalled it back on the car, since it leaked. With the nylon scraped off, i used J B weld and it's still holding. Giving me plenty of time to order a new radiator. I also used the nylon on my headlight tab, and again it did not hold and fell off easily. Maybe i was using it wrong, but there was no instructions, and its not like i don't know how to plastic weld.

Works provided instructions are followed
The typical 45 watt plastic welder does not get hot enough to reach the 750 * melting temp of thermoplastic nylon .. I followed directions & used a 100 watt soldering gun to effectively flow & weld the plastic together.

Thinner than I realized but performed!
It did act as it was suppose to but was much thinner than I realized it would be. Takes getting used to welding with it.
