Smooth transaction, as expected

You couldn’t ask for a more basic guide to this much-studied novel. Perhaps it is none the worse for that. Certainly it should help students struggling with the subtleties that the narrative structure and the complexities of the central character place in the path of the less confident readers. Don’t look here for depth of analysis or evaluation and although at its worst some of the writing is crude, it is probably of more practical value than the more elaborate guides confused by colour keys, marginalia and a wealth of paraphernalia that gets in the way of simple exposition.

Il donne une synthèse de chaque chapitre, ainsi qu'une courte analyse des personnages et de plusieurs thèmes récurrent dans le roman.Plusieurs bémols sont malgré tout notable, notamment les fautes d’orthographes ainsi que les non-sens (Ex: "Daisy's wife"??) car ce livre est tiré de commentaires récoltés sur le net. Ensuite, il n'est vraiment pas complet, comme je l'ai déjà mentionné, attention à ne pas vous baser en majorité sur ce document!En résumé, je vous conseille ce livre si vous voulez une aide non négligeable pour comprendre The Great Gatbsy mais soyez prudent.Le prix est également un atout pour l'aide qu'il apporte.
