Gorgeous is an understatement. I would buy this again!
For a relatively affordable, "beginner's" ukulele this is a really sturdy and gorgeous little uke. I love, love, love the floral pattern and I get so many compliments when people see it. I'm often asked if it is ornamental. It's a huge plus that it also sounds pretty when played. I personally can't stand nylon strings so I will be putting on higher quality strings to improve the sound.

Gift
Bought this for my 14 year old and she doesn’t put it down. The detail is great on it.

It's not a real ukulele.
I noticed first thing the ukulele had paint chipped off the bottom of it when my daughter pulled it out of the box. It did not have real strings but something else. It looked like fishing line. It sounded nothing like a ukulele. It needed a tune up but she was so upset she just said no and put it back in the box. The box wasn't even sealed; only had a big rubber band around it as well.

Not good for a 50 dollar uke you could buy at a nearby store
You’ll have to replace strings for better sound quality

Strings
The strings suck

Damaged
The fret board was chipped and poorly made. The sides looked like the color was filled in with sharpie. The strings were soft like rubber. I initially wanted to replace it and then noticed all the reviews said it was awful, so I just returned it. My Donner Uke is great, I just liked the design on this one. Sad the quality wasn't there.

neck on ukulele was nearly broken off with other marks and nicks present when opening the box
This was to be a gift! When opening the box, the neck of the ukulele was nearly broken off. There were other craftsmanship defects such as scratches and missed paint. Not professional.

Would definitely recommend!!!
This is my second ukulele, after I had looked at the reviews I figured "hey why not ?" The box was a little beat up but the little uke was perfect!I was pleased that the company sent it to me with 1. the strings loose (so that the neck of the uke wasn't stressed out while shipping) and 2. With a thin bag for carrying like I said the bag is thin but it is nice for keeping dust off or just taking to a friends house. I know that new strings have to stretch out before the ukulele sounds it's best, but so far it sounds great! The ukulele took about 10/15 minutes to begin to hold it's tune well, the strings aren't the highest quality and I will probably change them in the coming months, but the strings sound good as they are.Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a cute uke!
