Alpen Rainier EDHD 10x42 Waterproof Fog Proof Roof Prism Binoculars

These binoculars give me the "Wow!" factor every time I go to use them. I was concerned the 10 power would make the view unstable, without a tripod, but they are well balanced and easy to keep steady. The brightness and resolution are outstanding. Alpen Optics are the best value out there. Highly recommended.

Can't focus both eyes for simultaneous clear view in each eye . One eye stays out of focus with no improvement no matter what I try

it's like 3D looking thru this brand & type.

These binoculars are really good!!

These were gifted to me by a business associate. I had no idea how expensive they were, but another business associate of mine borrowed them, was super impressed so looked them up himself because he wanted to buy a pair, but after looking them up he gave me the good news that they were premium gla$$ and to treat them well. Ha! I use them frequently and loved them. I bought a spotting scope from Alpen based on how much I loved these. I dropped the scope with a phone attached to the lens with one of those cheap cell-phone mounts. It broke the eyepiece and I called the number, some young woman from Colorado answered the phone on the first ring and I had a new scope on its way to me in the mail after about 3 minutes. I'm not one to rate a product super well, or to go out of my way to promote good customer service, but these folks have their act together! Great product, the company gives great service... I would recommend these binoculars to anybody and everybody.

I am an optics snob. These are by far the best binoculars within a thousand dollars. I have tested these in the field side by side with vortex razor HD's Nikons, Zeiss, and even swarovskis. The swaros beat by the smallest amount, the others couldn't touch it. Especially the Vortex Razor, the most overrated binoculars I have tried. Alpen has an unconditional lifetime warranty that I used once for an eyecup after a drop. They have fantastic service, and had my binoculars back to me cleaned and serviced, for no charge. I can't say enough for these binoculars. They are amazing! Only word of warning, if you try these, you will now know what good optics are and you will need to upgrade any rifle scopes or spotting scopes you have.

To have a great pair of Binoculars they do not need to be from the top three makers know for their Alpha Glass. Nope today you can get great opics an less than 1/2 the cost with the best warranty around. The Alpen Rainier 10x42 HD ED is an Alpha Class with out the price tag. Alpen is a smaller company ran with real customer service in mind and a product that beats anything in its class quality and price wise. Get a pair and you will be happy. Update Damaged my pair on an ATV ride on Oct 29th 2017 roll bar landed on them and broke them in half. tipped over on a rocky section in the owhyees here in Idaho. Good news Lifetime no fault warranty bad news with all that was going on and getting my tipped rig up righted the binoculars got left behind. Went back today 1/1/2018 with a few friends to see if we can locate them. Had no luck will call Alpen and see if someone sent them in for repair will be interesting to see if someone did.
