This dress comes folded up and wrinkled. So you might want to plan on ironing it first. I put the dress over a long sleeve and I thought it looked fine.The dress has an Alice in Wonderland look to it. Especially with the apron. The dress comes separately, so you CAN wear it without the bloody-looking apron. The apron is a little weird. It does not tie at the neck. Instead it fits over the head, but it's only a short square piece in the back, so it doesn't go down very far in the back. Hangs almost like a dickie. It would have been better if it were a little longer to fit into the belt to be tied into place.The zipper is REALLY cheap and you'll want to be careful with it. The zipper goes down the back quite far, so have someone help you zip it up. Otherwise, it may get caught. There is some elastic in the waist to help pull it in, but the apron really help synch it in.Even know the quality is rather poor, it is exactly what I would expect from a Halloween costume. Therefore, it gets 4 stars, despite the lack of normal quality standards.The fake blood looks great. I'm not sure what the logo on the corner of the apron is supposed to be. I wish that wasn't there.BTW - The long sleeve in the picture does not come with the dress and neither does the hat I'm wearing in the picture.

While I was adoring the thought of finally having a two-piece Dark Alice costume, I was somewhat sad because the sizing definitely doesn't account for a slightly larger bust. I got this in a size small, and the girls were squashed. However, that was made up for by covering up with the 'blood splattered' apron. The quality of both the dress and the apron are made from decent material. Both are thick enough not to have show through, which a nice bonus nor were either plastic-y. The hardest part to figure out were the apron strings, I had to look at one of the model pictures to see how it was done. Even with fixing the apron like the models's, finishing with tying a bow, the back of the apron still settled weirdly while trying to bunch up, with gapping on the sides. Maybe it has to do with my smaller, shorter torso. At any rate, the items could be used separately if you had other costume pieces to match. I wasn't disappointed by any means with the costume, I just wish it fit my body better.

This is a really nice Alice costume! I suggest ordering this in your usual size, by the size chart- not cosplay costume sizing. My daughter wears a size small or 4 in women's clothing and the size small is a great fit. It doesn't include any of the accessories- it’s the dress with apron only.

My daughter just loves this very authentic looking bloody Alice costume for Halloween this year. It fits her perfectly, is comfortable, and the material is sewn well and sturdy, not see through or too cheap. It's machine washable. All the details are fabulous - the belt, smock, blood splatter, lace trim edges, and I don't think any of her friends will have the same costume. It looks pretty unique.
