Solid quality, generally easy to setup, great accessibility
We have two ferrets, but they aren't free roaming 100% of the time because we have other pets, so I had wanted to upgrade their cage for a bit to give them more space while they were in their cage, and this was the #1 recommended cage on forums when I looked into them, so I figured I would give it a try. This is a perfect setup for us. Plenty of space for both ferrets, lots of options for how to setup the levels, the trays and stairs are perfect (and it came with washable stair covers for them, which was a nice surprise), and everything in the cage is so easy to access. The double doors that swing open wide make cleaning so easy, and everything was easy to setup inside without any issues.Putting this together actually wasn't the worst experience, either. I did it by myself and it took me maybe 45mins, thought it was awkward at some parts where it would be easier to balance certain trays or panels with another person. Only issue I had was a single screw on the bottom didn't fit because apparently they didn't drill the hole large enough, so I had to zip tie the tray to the sides, which was fine. Considering the price tag on this, stupid mistakes like that are annoying, but the entire rest of the cage went together super easily and without any other issues, so overall, it wasn't a deal-breaker.I did wait until this was on sale for Thanksgiving, and it was $110 less than the current price, so if you're waiting to get this, Black Friday was a perfect time, honestly. Well worth it, we absolutely love the cage.

The best cage for ferrets!
This is by far the best cage for ferrets. Seriously, stop looking at other cages and just go with this one. You will not regret it!3 years ago I picked up a "Critter Nation" cage second hand off kijiji for $100. It was at least 10 years old (if not older, the previous owner probably also got it second hand) and she would foster ferrets as well as even had birds living in it at some point. It lasted another 3 years with me and could have easily lasted a few more but we finally felt like getting a new cage when it went on sale. (We mainly wanted a replacement because it was kept in a garage for a few years which rusted and warped some of the metal making it so that it was really hard to take apart and put back together). We may even keep the old cage to foster ferrets in in the future or connect the cages together to make a super cage.I can sing the praises of the old cage a bunch, but the new cage only had improvements. It was very easy to put together (minus one side piece where it got a little stuck on the metal and had a bit of a hard time getting in. Everything else went in easily). You do need 2 people to put it together, so prepare to find someone to help you! A rubber mallet can be helpful for getting the sides of the cage into place. You'll also probably need someone to help carry the box too. It is really heavy! The cage itself has wheels which makes it easy to move when assembled and the wheels lock to stop it from rolling away. It is very spacious inside. I could probably fully fit inside one of the sections if I really wanted to! You can very easily fit inside and reach the back corners of the cage no problem. It's really customizable and super easy to change around. And most importantly it is SUPER easy to clean. It takes me 15 minutes for a regular clean and maybe 30 minutes for a more deep clean including litter boxes. The trays are completely removable (the doors open up fully so sliding the trays in and out is very easy) and they're made of a thick plastic that nothing really sticks to. It's very durable and will last for years, especially if it's upkept well! The only flaw I had with mine was that because the box was so heavy, it got a little damaged. Some of the metal got scratched and the handle knobs got bashed in a little, but nothing that can't be fixed or affects the usability of the cage. It could have used a bit of better packaging around the knobs to keep them from getting damaged because there was only really a thin piece of cardboard and some tape to protect them. This is a very good cage and I highly highly recommend it!!

Worth overlooking the aesthetics
Aesthetically it’s nothing to get excited about, its heavy and it’s built to be functional not pretty, there’s a few scuffs on the paintwork, and the doors don’t sit square. Despite all that this is a fantastic cage, it’s solid, it’s sturdy, it’s escape proof unless you leave the door open, and yes, it’s built to be functional, full open access to every level, all the shelves just lift out for cleaning, easy to interact with your pet, the height and size of it is perfect for both me and my ferret, the doors lift off, I used one wrapped in a pillowcase as a temporary ramp for her to get in and explore, she free roams during the day and needs to get in and out freely so will need a more permanent ramp for this. It only goes together one way so it looks exactly as the photo, the only thing changeable is the height of the half shelves. The instructions are simple and easy to understand, the whole thing took me an hour and half to build and set up with all her stuff in it. It’s simple to put together, would be easier with two just for lining things up but it isn’t difficult to do alone, definitely use a rubber mallet just to knock the panels in square, it makes putting this together easy. It’s on wheels too and easy to move so that’s a bonus. All in all this cage is brilliant, if you have the space for it it’s absolutely worth every penny.

Buona gabbia

Not suitable for small pets
The grid is too big and the plastic tray is deformed.
