Awesome addition to our set!
Bought these for our ever-growing train set, they fit our generic wooden tracks as well as our wooden Thomas set. We only bought one set, but I have every intention of buying more! They've opened up creative opportunities for my kiddos to explore their miniature urban planning. So far the legs have held up well but it's only been a few weeks. My kids aren't too delicate with their toys, so I anticipate legs snapping at some point, but for those who take care with this set, they should last a long time!

taller than other risers
risers are taller than the ones I already have so didn't work with tracks. Returned it.

Hard to assemble
My 4 year old son loves trains and we were so excited to give him a way to have multidimensional play… but these things are incredibly hard to assemble. It’s as if not all of the pieces were sized correctly. Some slid in perfectly, others took a great deal of force and concentration to get it to work. Also these should be redesigned in a way that does not require 4 tiny screws to put together. A snap or locking mechanism would be more fun. That said, after a great deal of effort, my 4 yr old loves what train tracks he can build now.

Too tall; don't buy
These looked great online... but when I got them on the track and paired them with other risers, they don't match up. They are too tall, so the sloped/riser train tracks won't connect with any other tracks. Nor will they work with other risers, for the same reason. Not only that, they were a royal PITA to put together. Stay away.

Not a fan of these risers.
Some of these plastic risers can be hard to assemble because the plastic does not fit in place where you have to insert the plastic leg and then you have to screw each leg to the unit. This can be very time consuming and not necessary when you can purchase another Major Name Brand “Red Riser for Wooden Train Sets” here on Amazon which are the correct height, and they come already assembled and are more secure and sturdier. Then to top it off, the height of these risers is not correct. If you have existing BRIO, Thomas and Friends Maxim Enterprise wooden train tracks I believe that you will run into issues with this set. :(

Great
These work well and are the same height as other things we have like bridges. We've stacked them to be 4 high and they hold sturdy. One star off bc imo they're overpriced for what they are and because you need to assemble them yourself.

Assembly Required, Breaks Easily, and dimensions are slightly off.
Firstly, you must be aware that the legs must be screwed together for stability. You can sort of push them together but they may fall a part if they get bumped. Then you have to be careful not to tighten the screws too much because they are slightly too long and will break the plastic.Secondly, we have a 18 month and 4 year old and they aren't the most careful and have broken about 1/3 of the risers so far so I don't expect them to last too long before all are broken.Lastly, and most irritating, is that they are just slightly too tall so when adjoining the ramps up and down from the risers it creates a lip that sometimes the train gets stuck on.They are ok, but you get what you pay for.
