I’ve been hearing about the effectiveness of Kojic acid for years. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to use it. I was a little apprehensive at fitst, but to my surprise, it actually works! And the smell is great—pleasant and enjoyable.

I am a dark-skinned black woman so I'm always skeptical when I read reviews for products stating they remove dark spots. When you have a lot of melanin, dark spots are harder to get rid of. However, this product does actually work. I've been using it for about a week on my face and chest and my dark spots are significantly lighter. I'm very impressed. I read reviews stating be careful if you suffer from eczema; however, this soap did not irritate my skin at all. I did not have any breakouts despite having very sensitive skin. I also love the smell. I can't speak as to whether or not it left my skin softer because my skin was already very soft. I will say that the bars are very small. That is my only complaint. I feel that they could definitely stand to be a bit bigger for the price point.

Absolutely LOVE this soap for my face. I had been using the same soap without the lemon in it and it wasn’t working as well as I wanted it to. I decided to try this one with the lemon in it and OMG. I wish I had taken pictures to show the difference. My skin is so much clearer and more even toned. The mixture of the turmeric with the lemon makes all the difference. I use it twice a day for the most part and you can definitely see it working. I will be stocking up on this one.

This soap smells great, leaves my skin feeling good, but is very hard to lather up. You have to use something, loofa, wash cloth, my beard to get any lather going. It’s like washing with a bar of lotion.

Very confused by the people who give it less than five stars, because it irtaste their skin? what part of acid made you think that that was not a possibility? It's not a flaw in the product. That's literally what it's supposed to do.That's also why indian structions.It says to not leave it on like you. lather, and then you remove it right away. acids break down chemical bonds. it's helping to remove layers of tissue by breaking them up. it's is very similar to bleach.It's also why you shouldn't use it every day. Like you should use it, and then give yourself a couple days and see how you react to it. And then figure out how much you can use it.And if you do overuse it, your skin's kinda red and it peels, and you put lotion on it, and by the end of the day, you're fineI just don't understand why people do that. It's like people who review things less well. Because the shipping took a long time in Amazon was the one fulfilling the shipping. It's like that has nothing to do with whether or not the product is of good quality. So I don't know why it's so difficult people to understand that, but It's really really annoyingAnyway, good product good price. don't expect miracles, because there is no such thing in skin care. everybody reacts differently to things that they put on their skin. So you just have to try different stuff until you find one that works for you specifically.
