Worth every penny. A well made cleaner.
This is the most powerful vacuum cleaner I've ever used. It's fantastic! It holds so much. The bags are huge. The thing is, even when it's getting to be full it still sucks. There's no loss. Not that I can see.We finally changed the first bag. The adverts talk about it being clean. What goes in stays in. I think that's what they say.Well, it's true!It was full. I expected some dust to leak out the hole in the bag. Some was bound to come out. But, no. I think that this thing is going to stay as clean inside as it is outside. I looked. I looked closely. I tried to find some dust inside. There was none.It rolls along easily. It's loud but it's not too bad and it's not got that high pitched whine that drives you mad.I can't fault it. It doesn't overheat and we've had it going for ages. It's a real good one.It feels well made. It's not flimsy. There's no brittle plastic. The pipes are strong. It looks and feels like a quality item.I'm not expecting any problems, but I like the way you can buy all of the parts. From what I have seen I think that I could buy the parts and build a new one. And you can buy parts for the original ones. It's nice to know that in years to come parts will be easy to find.I'm very pleased with my Henry. It's just what I wanted.

Henry's brother Harry, a charming little fellow.
After receiving several excellent reports from friends I decided to 'invest' in a Henry Vacuum. I was presented with an array of models and after due consideration selected the Harry as it also included the pet hair attachment, not that we have a pet. I have been most impressed at the suction power, manoeuvrability and the 9 Litre dust bag. The dust bag of a good quality, not a paper version so often used, although I have now been informed by a friend that he uses it with out bags and has done for many years without any problem. Its 620W motor is both powerful and quiet when compared to other vacuums we have owned. I know it is still early days but it copes very well with the purpose for which it was purchased, cleaning after me and my hobby, wood turning, which are both somewhat dusty 'past times'. The pet hair brush. I find, is excellent when cleaning the car mats. I rarely respond to these Rating Reviews but felt I had to do so on this occasion.

Good suction power, useful attachments for pet owners, and a carbon dust filter
I have owned the old red Henry with a 1000/1200 watt motor for many years so was slightly concerned that the newer Numatic machines with lower wattage motors would seem underpowered, but I'm very impressed with the suction provided by this new model. If anything it seems slightly more powerful than the old model. For anyone else moving from the old Henry to this one there are two other improvements (or at least changes):1. The new cleaner has a high/low power switch. Most of the time the high setting is more useful, but the low power setting is handy for vacuuming lightweight items such as curtains where you don't want the material being sucked into the nozzle.2. The new cleaner has a small holster/clip on the side, so you can attach the cleaning head to the machine when not in use. Not a big deal, but an improvement on the older Henry where the hose and cleaning head just sprawl on the floor. The product description lists what comes with the Harry variant, but in summary there's a good selection of attachments, including a narrow turbo head, and there's a carbon dust filter which sits on top of the bag, so that pet smells don't taint the motor or get pumped back into the room. The turbo head is one of these Numatic Hairo Turbo Brush for All Model Vacuum Cleaners which I find to be more effective than the wider orange turbo head Genuine Numatic HVR370P-22 Vacuum Cleaner Hoover Red Airo Power HiPro Brush. I think that the narrower head width means that less power is needed to keep the brush rotating, so it doesn't tend to grind to a halt as soon as it touches the carpet.

Just wild about Harry!
Compared to a cordless, or a regular Dyson (I've previously had a Dyson Animal and a Dyson cordless) Harry is heavy, bulky and has miles of cable.Compared to a cordless, and a regular Dyson, Harry has mighty suction power, can last all day, and has enough tools to clean the entire house. And he's cute.Compared to Henry, Harry comes with a tool that collects all the hair the family shed (not limited to pet hair.) plus, with miles of cable, the manual cable wind is an absolute must have. And he has a huge capacity dustbag, hiding all the gross contents deep within his tummy. All in all, I'm wild about Harry.😊👍🏻

Great hoover!
I had a Henry hoover before and know that they are great hoovers with amazing suction and good cord length. I have only given this a 4 though as I agree with previous comments in that the main attachment for Harry is too 'fierce' and suctions to the carpet or floor so strongly that it can't be moved freely. Luckily we have the old head parts from our Henry and so use these instead - think it is a design fault of the part in question, as all the other parts (hair remover head, etc.) are great. Overall brilliant for the price though.

Best hoover by far.
I've had a few vacuum cleaners in my time but this little guy surpasses them all. Wonderful suction, great at getting dog fur out of our rug, and picking up hair from our wooden floors. The flex is long, there is a good selection of tools and the animal hair brush does the business. If you have loads of dog hair, you will need to unclog it (easily done with a pair of scissors), but it really gets even the trodden in hair out.Had a Dyson which performed very poorly, and am glad to welcome Harry to our home as a replacement. Not too heavy to carry about (I have hand problems so need something easy to carry), and so far no complaints at all.
