I order this again and again
I order this over and over. I love the purity of the product. I just add it to my yogurt in the morning. It tastes a little acidic, but with the other things I add, it's not a problem. The price is good and I really like this product.

Excellent product that really works
I've used Vitamin C as a supplement for thirty years and have always reopened on it to help keep my health in top condition. This product is a loose powder (bulk) in a plastic/foil bad with a zip closure. It just doesn't get simpler than this. Its easy to use and I can scoop the exact amount of Vitamin C and put it into a fresh veggie/fruit juice I make at home. In the summer I use 5 grams a day and in the winter I bring it up to 8 or 10 grams a day depending on how sick everyone else is around me. It takes time to build up tolerance to these levels so take it slowly, please, and since the bowel tolerance is discussed ad nauseum on the net I'll not rehash it here.More importantly is that when I received it I realize that I could use this product for an entry new purpose and this is really the focal point of this review. The city I live in had changed the water treatment from Chlorine to Chloramine (a combination of chlorine and ammonia) years ago. I previous had chlorine filters so that the toxic chemical would not bother me but chorine is a very small molecule and chlorine filters just don't filter it out at all. I started noticing dryness and itching all over my skin even though I drink lots of water every dat and take fish oil supplements every day.No water purification system on the market would take out the cloramine except the super expensive ones that are just not affordable at this time. Then it dawned on me that I had read articles about people in Japan and San Francisco using Vitamin C to treat their water.I did my research and found that chloramine is alkaline (a base) and Vitamin C is an acid. If you add an acid to a base, it gets neutralized and becomes inert. Most acids are hazardous to humans but Vitamin C is safe, and necessary, for us. I guess I could have tried an experiment to try vinegar but then I would smell worse wen I got out of the tub so I didn't try that.I did try a quarter teaspoon of this purse acerbic acid (Vitamin C) in my batch water, bathed in it every dat for the past several weeks and I have had no problem with the chloramine irritating me at all. This is a great solution because Bulk Supplements on Amazon is the only place where I can get large bags of vitamin C powder so I can sprinkle in exactly how much I need, and no more and its so much less expensive this way. Its the perfect solution for me.There is no fragrance although when I first pour the vitamin c into the hot water, a tiny amount does fly away and I can smell/taste a little but its a refreshing citrus taste that is barely noticeable and is rather pleasant, so its just not a problem.I'm now highly recommending this product to everyone and have added it to my permanent reorder list.

Has Multiple Uses. Dissolves Easily In Warm Water
I am definitely going to be buying from this company again. This stuff is awesome and serves multiple purposes, used for skin mixed with glycerin some even add it skin cream, Aloe Vera gel to use for skin and hair, put a little bit it in hair conditioner and shampoo, I have a friend who does this with vitamin C oil. I am a tartness freak I added a bit to some lemon aid it dissolved easily and tasted good. Yes this is weird I know there are actually people who use this to remove hair dye I thought they were kidding me but it worked. I am new to this never used the powdered version before and look forward to trying the many uses of it. DISSOLVING it this is easily done with hot tap or very warm waterAcne and oily skinFreaking awesome I mixed some of this with liquid body soap and have been washing my face with it it killed the acne removed the heavy build up of oil and cleared my skin, plus the way it cleaned my pores it was like I had used a facial mask, hehehe acne got it's butt kicked smiles evilly. I used the same mix in the shower makes an excellent body cleanser as well. I know this is weird I used it like toothpaste it stripped the plaque right off, I wouldn't do it all the time because of the acidHair dye removerHoly crap it actually works, I was told mixing vitamin C with shampoo removes hair dye I tried an experiment after cutting my hair I made a swatch mixed equal amounts of the vitamin powder with shampoo made a mix with the same thickness as hair conditioner. I coated the swatch with it put it in a plastic cap covered and left it sit for a while. about half an hour later I came back and it had removed a good amount of the dye. It will not remove heavy layers of dye with one time but it removes a decent amount, NOTE it does dry hair out but conditioner fixes that. Then if you want afterward you can use [Color Oops] hair dye removerUpdate April 28 2015. toe nail fungusI had a toe nail turned milk white which means a foot fungus in some cases the accompanying stench is most foul, I tried an experiment I put 2 table spoons of the powder in hot tap water in a foot basin soaked my feet for about 1 hour. later after done soaking I dried them off and noticed the white color had faded a lot by the following day the nail was clearer. Salt can also added with the Vitamin C powder with no problem. Afterward I did put pure lemon oil on the nail to help keep it sterelized and clear lemon acts like a bleach it fades freckles so I knew it'd help this

Good Product for the Money
I ordered this because I have an apple tree that produces a large amount of apples that make good applesauce. The flesh of the apples turns brown almost immediately upon cutting, and I wanted a lighter color in my sauce. Lemon juice and citric acid helps, but is not as effective as ascorbic acid to prevent darkening. Fruit Fresh works quite well, but can be somewhat expensive, and since I can a lot of my own fruit, I needed something that was not too expensive.Vitamin C tablets can be used, but they have to be ground up, and there are binders and starches in the formula that I don't like. I found this product, and found it to be quite effective--I have just completed 6 pints of prime applesauce, with no darkening. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with dark applesauce, it is just a personal preference of mine. Same goes for apple pie filling and peaches. This product was a good price, and a kilo renders approximately 2 1/2 - 3 cups dry.Since there is so much, and I only used 1 Tbsp in a 4 gallons of water, I am sure there will be plenty left over. Not sure about the shelf life of this product, as there is no "use by" date on the package; hence, the 4 stars. However, I am sure I can use if for a long time by keeping it dry and sealed, as I have had some Fruit Fresh for several years, and it still worked. As far as using it as a dietary supplement, your mileage may vary.
