A brilliant idea BUT
I rarely give a bad review (easily pleased!), and I think this is pocket guitar is a brilliant idea! The ability to practice changes and picking without disturbing my child in bed or folks in public... ideal!!But I have several issues with it:- The tuning screws will not stay in place at all, meaning the strings don't either. They're either way too loose or they get stuck, there is no in-between no matter how much I adjust the knut.- It arrived with the strings on in reverse order, and each screw was drilled to fit it's own string so I had to reorder the entire thing... a tricky task.- The strings it came with were such poor quality that 3 of them snapped almost instantly. 18years playing guitar and replacing strings, and this has never happened to me before.- The fret board and the strings don't 'fit' well, by which I mean what would make a semitone difference on an actual guitar, makes 2 whole tones' difference on this tool. It's very off-putting to work with.Basically I paid for an item which arrived today and yet already I can't use it. I doubt I could even if I got new strings, as the tuning pegs are just a nightmare. Perhaps the manufacturer could look into providing better quality strings, making sure it's strung the right way round, and fitting proper tuning pegs... even miniature ones would do.Though I will say this for it: the plastic casing is well made, and I love the velvetine bag it comes in. It all really looks the part and it's a brilliant idea, it's just a shame it doesn't work the way it should.

Ok, so you’ve read all the reviews that complain about “unable to tune correctly”Well how stupid is that?It’s a device to help you learn the chords, if you want to play pretty tunes then take your guitar and stop moaning about a cheap pratical little device that is made for sensible people that don’t expect to be able to play “thunderstruck /AC/DC “It is designed to practice finger placement, nothing else!Small, nicely presented bag, spare strings.

Does not play tunes
I have started to take guitar lessons i am learning chords ,was going on holiday but could not take my guitar so i took the pocket guitar and a chord sheet from my tutor which was very helpfull you cant play a tune on it but for hand/finger movement ideal.

Not good enough to emulate the tension on a real guitar!
Not overly impressed tbh, as a couple of the strings won't stay at correct tension...keep loosening.Conclusion... add £35 quid and buy a cheap guitar with good reviews..this suckers going back.
