This wasn't very similar to the colour of the product as shown here. It is also very difficult to iron. Wish I hadn't bought it but couldn't return it.

Soft, comfortable, easy to wash & iron (hardly needs any!). Delivered promptly too.

This duvet cover feels incredibly soft and high quality. The stitching is to a very good standard and there are buttons to close it. The whole things feels like it will last a long time.The design is stylish but quite neutral so should fit in with most decor. A set of pillow cases would have been the icing on the cake.

I'm not familiar with Peacock Blue Hotel as a bedding manufacturer. However, this Egyptian cotton standard double duvet cover appears to be rather nice and as advertised . The fairly neutral stone colour goes with most decors and will fit most double duvet quilts. Apart from Ikea who I understand use a continental sizing which is incompatible with UK beds and mattresses.At around £68, the price is not too bad for something of this quality and whether its for your own bed or for a spare room, it should stand the test of time for many years to come.

This is a lovely luxurious duvet cover. The high-quality cotton feels lovely and crisp, the pattern is pleasing, and the cover is well made. I would, if I had to find a flaw, suggest that the button holes are perhaps a little tight, making the buttoning up of the cover a tad difficult.

Let's not go overboard, a duvet cover isn't going to give you a superb night's sleep in a poor bed. It is not going to make a room look smart, without help. However, this cover does wrap the incumbent in soft, warm Egyptian cotton which, all other factors being equal, gives one the best possible chance of a good night. It also has the simple, smart good looks which will blend with almost any room features to enhance the décor.I was looking for a straightforward, top quality cover for my duvet - and I've found one.

I have been looking for some new bedding for our new house for a while, so was delighted to be able to give this duvet cover a trial. Also, its a perfect match for the stone colour I am using as a neutral throughout the house; the main curtains and blinds downstairs, which I am busy making, have a stone coloured background and the new bathroom and en-suite tiles are stone, as I like to have some consistency throughout the house. I like that the stone colour referred to in this bedding is in fact a very subtle stone coloured diamond pattern etched across a white background. Yes, it does have a very grown up hotel effect. I am a bit strange about bedding, I like a certain weight and feel of expensiveness, even if its not so expensive and love natural fibres, which this duvet cover is all of - the handle is extremely soft with a very slight sheen to it, a beautiful cloth, which I recognize as one who sews (a former textile designer), handling fabrics almost every day. Looking at it closely, I see it has proper stitched button holes, which not all duvets have (another sign of quality) and nicely sourced clear buttons which don't interfere with the design aspect and add to that expensive hotel feeling. Yes, as you can tell, I am in love with this humble duvet and now plan a quite bold hotel style carpet to enhance it in the new bedroom. I have also sent for four matching pillow cases and am looking for some interesting fabric to make into a throw or cushions for the bed to enhance it further. Couldn't have come at a better time for me, highly recommend this super quality, well designed product.
