Natural Health Alternatives Black Hollow Air Tube Anti-Radiation Headset Stereo Model Emf Protector

I have purchased several different pairs of EMF free headsets on Amazon. The problem is that they mostly all seemed to have a problem with product quality or a design flaw. Some of the other reviews I read suggested foregoing EMF-free headsets all together and to use ferrite beads on normal headsets. 6 headsets later here has been my experience buying EMF headphonesHollow Air Tube Anti-Radiation Headset Stereo Model EMF Protector-> 4 STARS In all honesty I think I avoided this product because of the bad amazon picture and because I assumed it would be of poor quality because it is the cheapest on amazon. I bought the "Smart&Safe® Hollow Air Tube Hands-free Headset" for my primary, at the exact same time that I bought this "Natural Health Alternatives" as a secondary/backup. The Smart&Safe was chosen to be primary because it was better in a few categories (see my other review on that product). Unfortunately, it broke very soon thereafter. Fortunately, I have found this "Natural Health Alternatives" heaset to work well and has been a good replacement (thankfully). It too has good sound-quality (almost as good as Smart&Safe), but is only half as comfortable, and the tubes aren't as long (less EMF reduction to user). Oddly, it's unfortunately REALLY loud, such that phone calls actually hurt my ears, even with the phone volume turned ALL the way down. I don't remember having this excessive volume problem with the Smart&Safe, which I thins the volume was just about perfect. If this item had its own volume control though, and more comfortable ear-pieces for long-time usage, it would be sweet. Especially since it is only about half the price ($20) of the Smart&Safe ($35!!).I hope this helps. I may buy a different model again soon and will update the comparisons again afterwards.

I would have given it 5 stars because I the product seems to work well and the sound quality is good. It is my belief however that the product is made to be broken and fail so that you are forced to buy new ones. What happens is that every time that you have a little bit of tension on the wire (which is very easy to happen, even accidentally) they come apart at where the internal wires are connected at the little bulbous part where the wire is connected to the tube. If the tension is sufficient it will break the wire. This is now my 3rd pair. What I am going to do this time and what my recommendation to other buyers is, is to immediately take apart the bulbous section and put some glue/cement for plastics and securely fix that problem so that they don't come apart. Why you may ask, don't I just buy a different brand? Because I've had most of the others and prefer the sound quality of these, and I prefer the black since my phone is black.

If there were a 2+ that's what these would get. As far as working well...they were okay - some hollowness - but not too many complaints about not being able to hear me. The biggest issue is the plastic tube "junction" piece (where the wires connect) is not secured in any way it just slips on and off with apparently little effort...learned the hard way. As a matter of fact, I didn't even realize they'd broken until i picked up two separate pieces. So, if you're set on trying these I would say purchase some crazy glue or tape them so it won't pull apart. I'm sending the broken ones back and looking for something better.

The seller was great!! Shipped product quickly. I was not super happy with the product though. I have sensitive ears and hoped that these ear buds might not irritate my ears, but I was disappointed because they ended up causing more of an ear ache than I had with my apple earbuds. Oh well...

If you have Nokia N9 like I do, do not purchase this headset. You will always get a static in the right earpiece. But If you have an Andriod phone from Samsung or HTC, this works great. the sound quality is really good.

Have not had a problem using it. Well, actually i remember one time it was sounding too loud and hard to understand what someone was talking about. Oh also, I could hear only on one side.But after that, I've had no problem with it. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or my my mac book pro was acting up.I'm very satisfied with it so I'm giving it 5 stars

The headset has good sound. The drawbacks are that they are delicate and don't travel well. Also when talking and walking people on the other end complain of scratchy sounds. These are best used for talking while sitting at a desk.
