Lenovo ThinkPad T440P 14" Laptop Computer Intel i5-4300M up to 3.3GHz 8GB RAM 128GB SSD Windows 10 Professional (Renewed)

Needed a cheap, fast computer to install Linux Mint 19 and this machine fit the bill perfectly. The laptop came in perfect condition, I really could not tell it was used. I booted into Windows long enough (after opting into all the required BS just to start windows) to make sure everything works and to update the BIOS. Lenovo has a update tool that should of shipped with the computer but was easy to install. I then booted into Mint Live to test out Mint to make sure everything works and then installed the OS and wiped out Windows FOR GOOD. I would not dual boot unless you are an advanced user, but I quit Windows a long time ago and really like Mint. The install went perfect without any, NONE, issues and boy is it fast! I am thrilled with the purchase and could not recommend this computer more. Also I didn't use windows for long but if you plan on keeping Windows , it was a full version of Windows 10 and worked on startup, it also seemed fast, but not like Mint! I also saw some folks talking about a touch screen, this is NOT a touch screen. This lenovo T440P really surprised me on it's features and power.The unit I received is in perfect condition, no scratches or dings. It looks 100% new!It was securely packaged for shipping too.Mine has a powerful intel processor, 8 GB ram, fast wi-fi, and a CD/DVD drive. The SSD drive boots up in a flash.The battery has plenty of life, keyboard is perfect and the power supply quickly recharges the unit.The built in sound system is nice but I will match a blue tooth speaker soon.The WIN10 was loaded in 2024.Best of all, this vendor didn't load up the Win10 with a load of shovel ware which is a great time saver when you are setting up your new system for max performance.All you need is an amzn wireless mouse and you are ready to go!!!Overall, I own several other lenovo T-series latops as they offer the best value, performance and durability.

This laptop performs well. It is fast and has worked without issue since I bought it. Well worth the price I paid for it. The screen isn't what I would choose to watch movies on but I didn't buy it for that. If you need a work horse for school or business this is it. The screen has poor contrast for viewing movies or even photos for editing. If you are looking at Excel, PowerPoint or Word or browsing the web shouldn't be an issue. Great price for what I received. Battery life has also been solid.

I recently acquired a ThinkPad T440P laptop from STG Global, and my experience has been nothing short of disheartening. The product received deviates significantly from the promised refurbished and renewed quality, leaving me deeply dissatisfied.1. Used SSD with Extensive Wear: The SSD provided exhibited a substantial 6,511 hours of usage, equivalent to approximately 271+ days and powered on over 900 times. This starkly contradicts the expectation of receiving a new or adequately refurbished SSD, raising concerns about the laptop's overall reliability.2. Missing Fingerprint Scanner and Camera: Despite the advertised features, both the fingerprint scanner and camera were absent. The camera, covered with a sticker, was undetectable by the system, rendering it practically non-existent. Additionally, the promised fingerprint scanner was nowhere to be found.3. Poorly Repaired Cracked Screen Frame: The laptop's plastic screen frame displayed a noticeable crack that had been hastily glued back together. The shoddy repair work not only affects the aesthetics but also raises doubts about the thoroughness of the refurbishment process.4. Non-OEM Power Supply: The included power supply was not an OEM ThinkPad T440P supply. Instead, it belonged to another Lenovo laptop model, accompanied by a dongle adapter. This oversight jeopardizes compatibility and introduces potential power-related concerns.5. Inadequate Packaging and Keycap Issues: The packaging was subpar, allowing the laptop to freely move around during transit. Upon inspection, I found keycaps with paint and what seemed to be human skin/debris lodged between the cracks. This points to a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness in the refurbishment process.6. Unnecessary Adhesive Sticker: The entire laptop was inexplicably covered with an adhesive sticker, presumably to mask damage to the outer shell. While this, in itself, wasn't a major issue, the mouse pad was also covered, severely hampering its responsiveness and rendering it nearly unusable.In conclusion, my experience with STG Global has been extremely disappointing. The product received not only fails to meet the promised standards of refurbished and renewed quality but also exhibits a series of issues that suggest a lack of integrity in the refurbishment process. I strongly advise against purchasing from STG Global, as their claims do not align with the subpar product and overall unsatisfactory experience.

I bought this a little skeptical of condition the description because it said "excellent", but when I got the computer I was really impressed. Amazing condition, barely any scratches other than some very slight wear, clean, no fingerprints or food, and the trackpad and the keyboard feel brand new. Not to mention the battery being OEM, good condition, and able to hold a charge. They also include an OEM charger which is something you would rarely get on other sites for similar listings. I am really happy with the purchase and even upgraded the RAM and SSD so I could get more performance. Super happy!
