When you actually need an eye patch and don’t want it to look like a costume, I would recommend this. My boyfriend had retina surgery and needed to return to work, and cannot wear glasses to his job. So he put a contact lens in the good eye and this patch over the eye that had surgery, and was able to function enough to be back at work.The patch is solid black, opaque, with a firm enough shape (the “bump”) to protect the eye without brushing up against your eyelashes. The strap is sturdy and comfortable, made out of thick stretchy material (as opposed to elastic).You definitely look like “I’m wearing this for a legitimate purpose” not “I’m trying to get away with wearing a costume”. It’s actually kind of stylish—if you need to wear an eye patch—because of the quality construction and material.At first I thought “ugh, we don’t need a two-pack” but it was reassuring to have the backup since he absolutely needed to protect his eye. One to wear and one to leave in the car.

They work, kept the light out, and had a pocket for the eyeball. They were temporary for me during cataract recovery, but for long-term use I would find them limiting. The straps never quite held them very securely on my face, which is narrow and small; so maybe others would find the fit just fine.

The eyepatch is comfortable and lightweight. The strap is adjustable so you can make it as loose or as tight as you want. The 3D contour design allows my eye to stay open, and the soft edges completely black out light and do not put an imprint on my skin.

Vision is fully blacked out and it sits comfortably in place over the eye and bridge of nose. For me, it could be a little deeper because I am blinking eyelashes against the inside of the fabric and that became annoying while wearing it. Also, it said 2 pcs but only one arrived so I got 50% of what was expected.

Purchased for use due to bells paulsi and need eye protection. Comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. Good quality, decent fit and a reasonable price.

First, my "new" item was clearly a return. The package was opened and one of the eye patches was out of its wrapping.I only needed one, so I opened the remaining sealed one and wore it for the short period I needed it. The band on the lower end of the patch needs to be lower, or there is a tendency for a slight gap if the patch isn't basically horizontal. The Velcro pieces were quite long and I have a rather small head. The hook side got caught in my hair frequently, so I can imagine a larger head would find it incredibly annoying.Did what it needed to (kept the light out of my eye) but I would disagree this is a medical item and wouldn't recommend it for extended wear.
