like the other volume, not a riveting read but good pics make it an ok book and interfsting to movie genre buffs.

Extremely well written book on the posters and films from the golden age of XXX. The reviews for the movies are very interesting and seeing the old movie posters is a kick. If you grew up during this time period you will enjoy this book. Even if you didn't see these movies you will recognize the posters. Volume 1 is also excellent just from an earlier time period.

This follow up volume to Graphic Thrills doesn't fail to satisfy the reader, who enjoys reading and seeing the history of the classic era of erotic and adult films. The author has continued to mine for the gold of the films and stories of yesteryear, to give the second volume a strong wealth of content. Every page you turn brings up another forgotten treasure of a film and it's a lot of fun seeing how the fashion and fads of the eras are reflected in the posters. Reading this book will bring a smile to your face and it's tempting to have these books on the coffee table as conversation starters for when company comes over. There's more films to dig through and I look forward to Volumes Three and Four to come out sometime in the future.

The first volume was really great!!! An incredible archive of movie posters from by gone years from a genre that is often disregarded but surely needs its space in a hall of fame ! i loved the authors commentary, witty, funny, humourous and knowledeable. The characters are like some kind of fantasy world , actors , producers ,directors and the hordes of nay-sayers.So there was no way I was going to miss this second volume which carries on from where the first left off. Some of the illustrators are extremely talented and special . So, if you are into the world of erotic films and their promotional posters , each with their own outrageous claims to one of a kind greatness and are not puritanical , this book is a great buy !!

This is such a fun book... both volumes are actually. I'd say it's a great "coffee table book" but it's not really something you want to leave out to pick up and read. In the end... full color, great quality book, lots to read and even more to look at. A great walk through the history of vintage porn.
