Flavor and goodness
I first had this spice while visiting Australia. It is delicious on avocado toast and this is a popular Egyptian spice used in many Mediterranean foods.

Going the extra mile
I had to write a review although I normally do not like to, especially when I've just received the item. We used the spice, Dukkah, in our meal last night and were happily surprised at the crisp and bold flavors that it offered. Typically a lot of spices flavors are very muted, but not this one and we were very happy about that. In addition, the company sent us an email after it was delivered which explained their own views on spices, production, and clarity of their products. They were very thorough in their explanations and gave me a fuller understanding of not only the spice, but their company's values. I'm very pleased.

The difference between authentic Med cuisine & boring bland American.
So my partner and I have decided to embark upon a mostly Mediterranean/quasi-anti-inflammatory diet. Truth be told, I don’t see a lot of results (RA) inflammation-wise, but I feel better overall, my skin looks faaabulous, it’s probably preventing all kinds of old people problems (because we suddenly became afflicted with oldness) and my god, who doesn’t like Med food?Though apparently, I’ve been doing it wrong because since I’ve begun using dukkah, za’atar, sumac, herbes de Provence etc, I now see why food at Middle Eastern (I know, I know—I should list all of the distinct countries with their own distinctive cuisines, but my reviews are always too long and that would make this four times as long)/French/Spanish/Sicilian/Greek restaurants are so much better—using dukkah especially makes all the difference. It’s hard to describe dukkah—a melange (okay that was kind of pretentious) of a whole list of spices and, depending on the recipe, roasted garbanzos and/or nuts.If you live in a city where you can buy about a dozen or so separate semi-exotic spices bulk, by all means, make your own; I live in a town of 183 (isn’t that terrifying??) and the price is right, so I’m gonna stick with this.

Baby powder fine. 4-5 individual peanuts thrown in... NOT a Real Dukkah! Save your money!
I have purchased 6 or 7 spices from this company in the last couple of months. I loved every one of them... until now! This is the worst Dukkah I have ever seen. It is baby-powder fine with 4-5 peanuts thrown in the bag! Pure garbage! If you want to throw away your money. I don't know if I got the bottom of the barrel (I don't think so since others have had the same problem), but I'm afraid to order any more spices from them again!

Not the real thing
Real Egyptian Dukka is made with all the ingrediants provided but ground in a coffee grinder together with toasted sesame seeds.

Economical
I love that I received plenty of product for the price. It is packaged so it stays fresh as you use it. That was a selling point for me. It is fresh and customer service is great.
