Metal Indoor Dryer Vent Kit, Protect Home Air Quality and Save Energy with Superior Dryer Lint Filter, for Electric Dryers

Very well made fairly heavy sturdy and exactly what I was wanting, much easier than making it myself lol, the filters are thick enough however I think I’ll add a layer of hepa filter at least Merv 11 to filter dust And any other stuff, but it’s doing fine rn, it does make a lot of steam obviously more than I realized but it is actually good my office work all my plants is right next to the laundry room and there’s a in wall shelf that passes thru to my office so the steam goes right in there, I got it to save all that precious heat from being wasted in the winter! The rental I got there no insulation under the floors and a basement underneath so the floor get pretty chilly, I run loads in my dryer twice a day morning and evening to help warm up the back of the house. If you’re looking for this kind of metal dryer vent box then this is the one you want no plastic on it!

Last month I started thinking about all the heat that is wasted from the clothes dryer during winter as it is vented outside. I also have to run humidifiers during winter, so the added humidity would be welcome too. I first looked at diverter types, but did not have confidence in the cheap plastic construction or the minimal filtering included. Then looked at the water trap units, but I have very curious cats - enough said. Finally ran into the Ditkok unit and liked what I saw.When the unit arrived, I was impressed by the heft of this thing. It is definitely all metal, so will last a good long time. All the hardware and filters shown in the description were also included. I was surprised that there are two sets of hardware. I used the wingnuts (you can see in picture) but there are low profile solutions included so you can take your pick. The filtering system includes a 3 layers; a wire layer that picks up any big stuff (separate), then a two sided scrubber type with one side being course and the other side being fine. The filtering system does a good job and is easy to slide out of the unit for cleaning.There was 1 other competitor that I saw very much like this Ditkok unit, that was more expensive. It only included 1 of the scrubber type filters whereas this kit supplies a total of 3 scrubber filters. I don't normally buy items that have no reviews (at the time), but hey, there is always a first time and I'm a happy camper that I took that chance.

We relocated our dryer so that it would be adjacent to the washer, which meant that it was ~15-20’ from the actual outdoor vent. Our new dryer had a sensor that detected this and shut off the dryer automatically. We installed this indoor vent, and the dryer functions perfectly! It is honestly much easier to keep it clean than the traditional vent. Highly recommend!!

Just finish installing the dryer vent kit in our home average laundry room with small ceiling exhaust fan unit. All parts work, for the first use -we turned on the family size cloth dryer. After a couple of minutes the small laundry started to get warm and then the close doors(2) and walls started to get moisture/ wet. We turn on the ceiling fan (a must) and that help eliminate the wetness on the room surfaces. A second option: open the two doors into the hallway and into to the garage - that works also. If you do have a window nearby, opening it will help too. Also this product is a small size filter kit -after a couple of uses, you will need to unscrew to open the front face and clean the filter/debris/dust inside the unit. The product does not fully replace the use of the regular old house venting pipe to the outside. Overall I gave this product 4 Stars - a very good product , it does work and hope it will last.

We have a high country cabin in Colorado. It is cold and very very dry. We pay good money to heat and humidify the place. We can now vent the dryer indoors with out blowing lint all over the place, heat, and humidify all at once.The only "con" is training folks that there are now 2 lint screens to clean..

Very sturdy, all steel construction, and a great design. We mounted the unit next to the old wall exit so that we could swap between inside and outside venting depending on the season. My location required a sideways installation and the pull out filter was going to be on the bottom so I drilled out the 1/8" rivets and flipped it over then riveted it back together. Perfect design and works better than any other unit I've seen.

This thing works. I have used it 10 times and it exceeds expectation. It is very well made and easy to put together and hook up. For maximum efficiency it needs to be cleaned after every 4 or 5 dryer loads. Cleaning should take 5 minutes or less if you use a hand held vacuum.

This is my 3rd house to put an inside filter. This by far is the best of the brands that I have put in. I love the craftsmanship.
