Do not buy this stairgate
We bought this to use as a temporary measure when grandkids came. We thought we’d have a trial run a few days before their arrival. Although it was tricky to fit, we did it and then took it down with the intention of putting it up before kids arrived. Ha! Huge mistake! You CANNOT get it back into position again. No amount of strength can replace the heavy duty securing ties that it came with - that had to be cut if corse, to open the gate!Unfortunately the seller won’t pay the postage to return it and that’s almost as much as the cost of the stairgate itself! Also you can’t get the gate back in the box because there are no heavy duty ties to secure the gate! DO NOT BUY THIS GATE
