I naturally have weak, thin nails. After 3 weeks of taking this Silica product my nails are beginning to get harder. I will continue to take this product until the ridges go away.

I honestly didn't see a difference in using these, to be completely honest with you. I was looking forward to trying them as I usually take some sort of biotin or hair and skin type of multi vitamin to supplement my skin care regime and try to get some collagen back into the old joints. But I have to report that I didn't see a noticeable improvement in this 30 day dose of silica, biotin, collagen (and a few other minerals/vits). But since I typically take a biotin and collagen supplement, I didn't see a reduction when taking these either. They didn't seem to bother me, and overall maybe I can only report that at least things didn't get worse. I read other reviews and I do agree that it may have needed a few more months to see a more dramatic difference, so 30 days is all the doses included in this so that is all I can report on. My other biotins and collagen products I take are a little less in cost than these, and I'll likely go back to those as I don't know I saw any increase of an improvement using these than those, at least for me.

Perfect for what I needed.

I started seeing results in 15 days.. Now, my hair grows faster, shinier, more abundant. My nails were brittle, opaque and with lines. Now they are strong, lines are going away. My skin is smoother. Hubner products are amazing.

I got this because Silica is an important part of my skin care regimen. I actually take Bamboo extract for the Silica it has in it to help possibly with my Elastin production. Elastin is the part of skin that gives its elasticity to help keep it taut. Skin care is a passion of mine especially with supplements. I consider Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Elastin and Silica must haves for me seeing how they work together possibly (hopefully). In skin production and maintenance they require each other possibly for possible optimal skin health. As well as vitamin C too as collagen needs the enzymes from it to unfold it's proteins. I am very happy to see that this product's main ingredient is Silica. And it's actually a colloidal gel form which may possibly benefit with how the body possibly metabolizes it. The other ingredients in this I do very much like mostly for my hair but my skin too. I am not sure ( at the time of this review) why on the back of the bottle it's not listing the amount of silica in it per cap/serving. Perhaps due to it being in a colloidal gel it varies from one cap to the other ? I do like this brand listed the carbs and calories as I track those and very happy to see those 1's and Zeros ! With skincare I have noticed for me personally for real changes that are meaningful imo it takes a long time as in six months or so. With hair and nails for me personally it's pretty fast imo. Our natural collagen and elastin production starts lessing in our late twenties usually so it stands reason it takes awhile to get enough possible benefit to actually notice possibly with skin. Skin care supplements are not miracle workers imo and this ingredient Silica included. For deep wrinkles and especially expression lines do not be mislead in thinking they will completely disappear imo. However using Silica in my skincare regimen makes sense to me seeing how important imo it is in the skin building process and I'm perfectly fine with possibly slowly benefiting from one month to the next. After many years of using ingredients like this, I am definitely happy with my efforts. I am happy to come have come across this product and have had no sides with it. This is my review for Hübner Original Silicea Gel One a Day Capsules for Hair, Skin, Nails, and Connective Tissue, (30 Count (Pack of 1), The Hübner brand of supplements is German and their products are also manufactured in Germany.They've been in business since the mid 30s so I would say their longevity is due to their Trustworthiness. The box holds 30 very easy to swallow capsules. The dosage is 1 a day so there is 30 days' worth of capsules in this box. In my opinion the price point is a little high for a 30 day supply. They have also listed the recommended treatment time as 3 months 1-2x a year. I love that this formula has included the cofactors for silica that make it work faster and better. It includes Biotin, Selenium, Manganese, Zinc and 1/2 gram of salt.You notice that you won't see any badges or certifications etc like we are used to here in the Usa listed on their website or here. sSeems the EU does things a little differently than we do. I did find this statement that sounds like they do follow quality control standards in sourcing and manufacturing. They state: "we craft our high-quality wellness products using traditional recipes, tried and tested ingredients, and the latest scientific findings." They have mentioned that they manufacture according to the EU-GMP regulations (Good Manufacturing Practice) for pharmaceuticals as well as HACCP. I would like to see something written in a more universal way when it comes to referring to a brands quality control standards and processes. Otherwise, I loved using Hubners Silicea. I did not notice any GI stress but I did notice my nails getting nice and hard. Hair and skin take a little longer to show benefits but I totally trust that this Silica will work.
