Great replacement gas fireplace valve
This replacement valve for my gas fireplace was recommended by my fireplace maintaining company. I ordered it and they came and installed it. It worked great and simple to install.

Perfect match and perfect fit
The pilot light would not stay lit on our fireplace and I determined it was either the thermal sensor or the valve assembly so I replaced both and it all works perfectly now, no issues. The home was built in 2009 so I decided the best course of action was to replace both these parts to make certain I would not have to tear into this fireplace insert more than the one time. I matched the part visually as I could not find a part number to reference and the fireplace insert we had was made in Canada and there were no matching parts on Amazon to match the manufacturer of this insert. Price was reasonable and delivery was on time.

Perfect replacement!
Installed per instructions and turned on, worked immediately. Replaced a 20-year-old fireplace valve.

Direct replacement. Worked great.
Be sure to use pipe dope or gas rated yellow Teflon tape on threaded connections. Also Red RTV Gasket maker on pass-through. Be sure to purchase a leak detection device to check for gas leaks along pipe connectors.

After trouble shooting, works great.
This was a direct replacement for the 820652 valve on our Monessen fireplace logs. After installing, noticed the gas valve would not allow the burner to come on. The valve came with information regarding the distributor and their phone number. I called and talked to Nathan, he walked me through a few steps to get things going. The thermopile measured 466mV without a load and 177mV when the wall switch was turned on with a load but the gas burner valve would not open up. Nathan had me short the thermopile making sure it would work, found out the valve was stuck and another trick Nathan directed me to do worked like a charm, the valve was just stuck, fireplace logs working great again!
