So far, this chef's pan has worked very well for me. It is coated in the new non-stick coating that has some small texture that supposedly improves browning and non-stick performance. I can't tell if that's true but it seems to be as non-stick as straight teflon which is good with me, and much better than the variety of "non-stick" non-PTFE coatings that definitely stick in any but the most optimal conditions (like using lots of oil). The pan is well made and everything is solid and works properly. It is large enough (I'd guess 5+ quarts) to handle cooking in batches. The handle is good and avoids getting hot. It has a "helper" handle that I really like to lift the pan when filled with heavy or wet contents to make sure it does not tip. The lid is great -- allows steam to escape in limited amounts and is clear so you can see what's going on in the pan with it on. Overall I like this pan a lot and would definitely buy it again. It's my "go to" pan for just about anything other than boiling water and it has carried the weight well didn't cost a fortune.

Arrived and was well packaged, very nice looking pan. It felt a little light but I don’t see that as a negative, overall well made. Tried it out with a one pot meal that requires browning, sausage, sauté spinach, onions, garlic tomatoes, then heavy cream and gnocchi. Reason why I am explaining the details is, it put the pot through its paces. Meat and veggies glazed nicely then it handled the delicate gnocchi and heavy cream. Cooked evenly, no warping on the pan. If this one meal is an indication of performance it’s a winner !

I am in love with this pan, please don't tell my instapot or slow cooker.It is the perfect saute/fry pan, it is sturdy and heavy which to me says it is made to last and is a hard worker.It is deep which is great for things like building pastas, currys, braising meats, and frying foods. Can go from a burner and into the oven for finishing meats and anything else you might be cooking, with ease.With the pan being so heavy I really appreciate the helper (additional) handle, it is a great touch.The value of this pan can not be beat or understated, it is well worth the price.

6 Quarts Deep Frying, non-stick Pan.This is my go-to for cooking large quantities of food for a family with teenage boys. I've destroyed many non-stick pans with recipes that require long times over the stove and ingredients that will caramelize during the cook. After 3 cooks over high heat, there is a slight discoloration of the metal where it was heated by the induction coil. The non-stick surface is unchanged.I am impressed with how easy it is to clean this pan--caramelized ingredients wash away with warm water!As you can see in the attached picture, this pan copies the Hexclad characteristic of stainless steel features extending above the non-stick surface.NOTE: The pan is convex in the center, that is to say, the center is higher than the edges. I watched a review where others noticed that Hexclad pans have the same design and eventually flatten out. Time will tell of that's the case with my Delarlo pan.

Such a fantastic cooking pan!! I waited to comment until I had used it a few times and now, just must say it's the only pan I ever use anymore. Perfect size!! I cook for just me, often planning meals ahead...This pan is the perfect size for me and cooks foods evenly without burning foods. So easy to clean, I don't put it in the dishwasher, just wash by hand with Dawn and hot water, so easy! Highly recommend this for folks cooking for just 1 or 2. You'll love it!

I’m slowly replacing my 30 year old steel pans as they are wearing out. I couldn’t afford the competitors set (brand name rhymes with Dexclad), so I decided to give this a try. I must say this pan is a dream! You need little to no oil, food does not stick & clean up is so easy. The pan is constructed of top quality materials and feels substantial in your hand. This a a very well made, versatile tool for my kitchen. I will be buying this brand in other sizes.

While it does have some non-stick properties, it won't perform as well as a brand new traditional non-stick pan. The non-stick coating has an odd, rough texture that might be the reason. But, used as a braiser or small oven-to-table casserole dish, it's a great option.
