Excellent Variety of Nail Files
Nothing like a brand new nail file! How about six different files of different grit! These have actually really improved my manicures and I'm not just saying that. Maybe my last files had just gotten way too old because these are a game changer. Will buy this pack again.

Effective files for gel nails, powder, natural nails, and buffing
This is an excellent set of emery boards/foam nail files in a variety of grit strengths (or roughness levels). The roughest boards can rough up gel polish and break through the gel top coat for removal, and shape powder nails after curing, while the more fine boards are delicate enough to shape natural nails, and the finest of all make excellent buffers for polishing natural nails to a mirror shine, without polish! These emery are helpfully labeled with their various grits. Lower numbers (e.g., 100) are a rougher grain, while higher numbers (e.g., 1,000) are finer grain.I have attempted to describe how I used each of the emery board grit levels. Note that not everyone's nails are the same, and this is in no way an exact scale, just my experience.100/180 - Very Rough Grit: For scraping off old gel polish or top coat before soaking to remove previous manicure. For shaping rough powder dip nails after curing powder, but before top coat. Too rough for natural nails.150 - Rough Grit: For scraping off old gel polish after soaking and scraping previous manicure off. For shaping powder dip nails after curing powder, but before top coat. For filing down excessive natural nail length without trimming.220/240/280 - Medium Low/Medium/Medium High Grit: For shaping and smoothing natural or artificial nail edges after trimming. For smoothing rough natural nail, artificial nail, and dip powder nail surface.1000/4000 - Fine Grit: For finely smoothing natural nail, artificial nail, and dip powder nail surface.Very Fine Grit: For buffing natural nail surface to a mirror shine. Not for painted or artificial nails.
