These really work! I tried the plastic ones first, but they made too much noise in the dryer, like they were breaking it apart! So I tried these because they are softer and they work like a charm so far. They are much quieter and clothes, linens, and towels all come out soft and mostly wrinkle free (at least as well as the softener sheets I used to use). I tried the oil with some towels and they smelled lovely, but it wears off pretty quickly. The dryer smelled nice, though, for days! You use the oil drops after the load is dry, putting a few drops on the balls and running the dryer on "AIR" for 10 minutes. Too much trouble for regular use, but nice once in awhile! I'm very glad to have found a safe and sustainable substitute for chemical softeners!

These work as expected. I bought two packages and am giving one as a gift. The instructions don't tell you how many to use so I put in all three. One time was with a couple drops of essential oil on them; one time without. The scent from the oil permeates throughout and lasts for more than one drying cycle, so adjust accordingly. You may need more than the three included for areas with low humidity to combat static. I live in a fairly high humid area and that isn't really an issue for me. They perform almost as well as dryer sheets to promote softness.

I did a little research and found these! These dryer balls and the lavender scent were the best purchase. I had decided I no longer wanted to buy fabric softener or dryer sheets as they are no good for your clothes or skin. My first use of these was on my best sheets and oh my gosh I was not disappointed! That fluffy blanket and light lavender smell had me fall asleep quickly and cozy!! THESE ARE A MUST BUY!

These are just amazing! I recently bought an he washer and energy efficient has dryer. But it always seemed I had to dry my clothes on the longest setting setting to get them dry. Then I saw these recommended in one of my searches to find a more natural way of doing laundry. I had already thrown out dryer sheets but needed something to replace them. Well these were my answer. I continued to wash and dry like I used to, but I was getting lots of static now. So a little search on Google and come to find out I was drying them too long now. So I put the dryer on energy preferred setting setting for the first time and my clothes were perfectly dry, smelled amazing and were static free! I am so pleased I bought these. I will be purchasing more in the future.

I love these woolzies and bought them for all of my family member for Christmas this year. I bought 6 and use 2 for a small load, 4 for a medium load and 6 for sheets and larger loads. Pair them with high quality, responsible essential oils and your laundry will smell even better than with those awful, chemical laden dryers sheets. For the essential oils to work effectively however, you need to apply to two or three of the balls after your load is nearly dry, and then run on air cycle for about 10 minutes to get the scent into your load.Did you know that chemicals in dryer sheets affect your central nervous system? Ingredients in dryer sheets, such as Alpha-Terpineol, Benzyl Alcohol, Camphor, Chloroform, Ethyl Acetate, Linalool and Pentane cause headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, and loss of consciousness. Repeated inhalation of vapors causes central nervous system depression. Some of these ingredients are on the US EPA’s Hazardous Waste list. I have vowed never to purchase dryer sheets again and there is no need to do so with woollzies!I have had mine for more than 10 months and they are still great and I do about 4 loads of laundry a week. The website says 1000 loads, so I am not even close to these breaking down. They have more than paid for themselves. I do not have any static cling with these either. They are one of the best environmentally friendly products I have ever purchased.

These wool dryer balls dry clothes much faster than without them, saving time and energy! And they're unscented which is important to me and my family. I’ve given them as gifts to my family members as well and everyone loves them.

Great product but the plastic bag and scoop inside the box not only surprised me, but really disappointed me, and I knocked off 2 stars because this. Maybe convenient but certainly not environmentally friendly. I'd love to update this review in the future after seeing the plastic bag ditched for even a wax paper bag. Lose the scoop altogether and just include measurements by tablespoons or weight or something much more environmental friendly.

Good quality wool dryer balls. Don't use scent on them anymore, but the balls work well alongside a dryer sheet for scent.

I bought it for a tip not to wrap small clothes in the elastic waistlines and it really worked ... The clothes also come out drier. It's really good.

Wife loves these and uses them regularly as I do when its my time to do the laudry.
